Originally a small market town in Northern Hungary, Sárospatak (Patak) deserves attention for more than just the role it played in a series of historical events that were to define the future of this ...country throughout the 17th18th centuries. The cultural, educational and musical legacy of the period is also outstanding, and the functioning of the Patak College (Pataki Kollégium), which soon gained considerable prestige, played a key part in this. The aim of this paper is to present the musical aspects of this most valuable set of interconnected cultural assets.
Resumo: Trata-se de uma investigação que, à luz da história cultural, busca compreender cinco eventos ocorridos no Brasil nos anos 1920: Conferência Interestadual do Ensino Primário (Brasil, 1922); ...Congresso de Ensino Primário e Normal (Paraná, 1926); Primeiro Congresso de Instrução Primária (Minas Gerais, 1927a); Primeira Conferência Estadual do Ensino Primário (Santa Catarina, 1927); Primeira Conferência Nacional de Educação (1927), promovida por intermédio da Associação Brasileira de Educação. Como hipótese investigativa, apresenta-se a seguinte questão: que representações são possíveis de serem interpretadas acerca do campo educacional brasileiro nos ritos e nas materialidades das conferências e dos congressos ocorridos nos anos 1920? O percurso teórico-metodológico circundou referenciais da história cultural, considerando os conceitos de cultura material e representação.
Since its first issue, of January 1, 1936, the Însemnri ieene Notes from Jassy Magazine (1936-1940) has emphasized the orientation of a group of intellectuals that aimed to continue the tradition of ...the literary, cultural and scientific circles from Moldavia, with a focus on a series of ideas related to national specificity, popular language, cultural unification. For almost five years, the magazine polarized intellectuals from all over Moldavia and had an intense program of dissemination of the Romanian culture through the organization of itinerant conferences in the cities of Jassy, Tighina, Kishinev, Soroca and Balti. The September 1, 1940 issue of the magazine was dedicated to Bessarabia and Bukovina and was remarkable for its spiritual Romanian essence. The present paper dwells on the importance of this special issue of the magazine, which deal swith a number of representative topics announced by the article titles such as: Basarabia pân la 1812 Bessarabia until1812, Viaa româneasc în Basarabia (1812-1918) Romanian Life in Bessarabia (1812-1918), Mrturii moldoveneti la Nistru Moldavian Testimonies on the Dniester River, Basarabia provincie istoric ruseasc? BessarabiaRussian Historical Province?, Universitatea din Cernui The University of Chernivtsi, A doua pierdere a Bucovineii Basarabiei The Second Loss of Bukovina and Bessarabia, Iar vremuri de bejanie, New Times of Turmoil,i totui, nu dezndjduim! And Yet, We Do Not Despair! and many more. This unique issue was illustrated with numerous images from Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina, as well as with portraits of cultural personalities born in the Romanian land between the Prut and Dniester rivers, all meant to discuss and emphasize the national identity of Romanians through culture.

Without doubt, one of the most outstanding piece of the goliard poetry is the anonymous poem which nowadays become known as Phyllis et Flora (Altercatio Phyllidis et Florae). It was preserved to us ...in many manuscripts, whose each one contains parts of diff erent length of this poem. One of these copies especially diff ers from any of others: it preserves a complete poem that begins with the eight initial stanzas of the original poem, and continues with seven new-composed stanzas until its end. After the discovery of this manuscript, it become part of the tradition of the poem although it was considered just as a very corrupt witness of the poem’s fi rst eight stanzas. However, in the recent past, thanks to a lucky occasion, it was discovered a second copy of this variant poem, transcribed at the same period as the already known one. Th e new discovery fundamentally changes our relation to the variant: the new copy has made it obvious, that this is not a peculiar composition of the fantasy of its scribe, but a self-suffi cient late variant of the original poem, which had been supposedly more widespread, than its traces testify. Not only the radical alteration of its length, but – due to its late construction – that of its content and thought is also remarkable.

The article is devoted to problem questions related to the young interdisciplinary field which received the status of political linguistics. The author describes the main directions of exploration ...and achievement of the scientific field and demonstrates a variety of approaches to the study of the phenomenon, at the same time manifesting the lack of its full scientific reflection in the linguistic area, as well as the instability of the terminological apparatus. The author emphasizes the classification features of genres of political text and problem moments of these genres naming. The discussion is opened around definition, qualification, classification etc. of the genre called mostly a slogan. The research generalizes the foreign and Ukrainian scholars’ work on the basis of the definition of such concepts as „haslo” („watchword”), „exhortation”, „motto”, „slogan” and, accordingly, „political haslo” („political watchword”), „political exhortation”, „political motto”, „political slogan”. The author proves that the term „political haslo” belongs to the original concepts of Ukrainian political linguistics. Examples of this small genre are differentiated on the basis of: 1) political haslo; 2) political haslo-exhortation; 3) political haslo-motto. The concept of „political slogan” is considered as a tribute to trend, as a result of globalization processes and close ties of commercial / political advertising. Any „political slogan” can be called a political haslo, but not every political haslo receives the status of slogan, because not every political slogan, as it was, contains unique advertising political proposal and does not always equally reflect the content of a political campaign, political brand, political „product” or „service”.
The paper discusses the principle of anthropocentrism and nation-centrism in relation to the presentation of the theoretical foundations of Ukrainian linguistic historiography, based on national ...traditions and new approaches to the principles of describing the history of linguistics. It is significant for reconsidering Ukrainian linguistic philosophy and philosophy of science in general. In modern Ukrainian linguistics, traditional genres of historiography are updated (index, biobibliography, textbook, monographs, scientific articles, etc.) on the history of Ukrainian linguistics in general, research centers and schools in particular, descriptions of achievements in certain fields of the Ukrainian linguistic studies, etc.) and new hybrid genres (metabibliographic manuals, bibliography of individual journals, textbooks in some scientific fields, dictionaries of personalities, etc.). In the modern scientific space the formation and development of critical-respecting discourse as well as linguistics of personalities can be observed.
