Zusammenfassung
Der Artikel gibt eine Übersicht über den aktuellen Forschungsstand zum Arbeitsplatzkonzept „Coworking Space“. Dieses Konzept umfasst die flexible Anmietung von Büros und ...Schreibtischen zu variablen Konditionen. Offen angelegte organisatorische und räumliche Strukturen fördern und ermöglichen einen interdisziplinären Austausch von Wissen und Informationen unter den Nutzern. Es wird ersichtlich, dass trotz der immer größer werdenden Popularität von Coworking Spaces zum gegenwärtigen Zeitpunkt kaum Erkenntnisse und keinerlei empirische Befunde zu Arbeitsbedingungen in Coworking Spaces unter motivationalen und gesundheitsrelevanten Aspekten existieren. Die Arbeitsbedingungen von selbstständig Erwerbstätigen, die einen großen Teil der Nutzer∗ von Coworking Spaces ausmachen, sind bisher nur unzureichend arbeitsmedizinisch und arbeitspsychologisch wissenschaftlich untersucht worden. Umfangreiche und repräsentative Daten zu Zusammenhängen zwischen Arbeitsbelastungsfaktoren, Arbeitsressourcen und entsprechenden Gesundheits- und Leistungsparametern von selbstständig Beschäftigten, die in Coworking Spaces tätig sind, liegen aktuell nicht vor. Forschungstätigkeiten zur Erfassung und Analyse von psychischen und physischen Arbeitsbelastungsfaktoren in solchen Arbeitsumgebungen sind demnach dringend notwendig.
Sedentary behavior refers to certain activities in a reclining, seated, or lying position requiring very low energy expenditure. It has been suggested to be distinct from physical inactivity and an ...independent predictor of metabolic risk even if an individual meets current physical activity guidelines. Over the past decades, a shift in the activity profile of individuals has been observed with vigorous physical activity and sleep being partly replaced by cognitive work, a potential neurogenic stress component considering its hormonal and neurophysiological effects, leading to various impacts on health. Mental work, for instance, may significantly increase glycemic instability leading to an increase in the desire to eat and thus, higher energy intakes. Furthermore, screen-based leisure activities (e.g., television watching) and screen-based work activities (e.g., computer use for work purposes) have often been considered together while they may not trigger the same stress response and/or use of substrate. Thus, the problems of sedentariness may not only be attributed to a lack of movement, but also to the stimulation provided by replacing activities. The objective of this review is to discuss the (1) recent evidence and current state of knowledge regarding the health impact of sedentary behaviors on health; (2) potential neurogenic effects of cognitive work as a sedentary behavior; (3) link between sedentary behaviors and the diet; (4) resemblance between sedentary behaviors and the inadequate sleeper; and (5) potential solutions to reduce sedentary behaviors and increase physical activity.
En esta aportación se ha tomado en consideración desde el siguiente marco: (1) el institucional, manifiesta por los estudios realizados por el Museo Pedagógico Nacional, donde tuvieron un papel ...relevante Pedro de Alcántara (1886) y Manuel Bartolomé Cossío (1913), como director; (2) la pedagógica, con una primera experiencia que se inicia con las Escuelas Modelo y concluye en este tiempo con los Institutos Escuela, pasando por la influencia de la Institución Libre de Enseñanza (Cossío y Giner de los Ríos); (3) las comerciales, algunas distribuyendo modelos extranjeros, pero en muchos casos con claros exponentes españoles vinculados a maestros y pedagogos, principalmente con el diseño del Museo; y (4) el propio del diseño de mobiliario, que contiene criterios dimensionales, ergonómicos y constructivos, tanto de referentes de fuera como de modelos propios, observados en dos generaciones de sistemas, tratando de dar solución al problema de las mesas-bancos o pupitres del país.

Con el desarrollo del software libre en la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas, han surgido ideas y proyectos en función de la migración. Dentro de ellos, el proyecto Nova con el objetivo de ...desarrollar una distribución de Linux basada en Gentoo. La aspiraciones son grandes con este sistema operativo, van más allá de una simple idea; la de crear una identidad propia en esta rama del software, para que en un futuro no muy lejano sea usado por la mayoría de las entidades cubanas. Nova como sistema operativo necesita de una herramienta mediante la que se permita mejorar el trabajo de los usuarios y al mismo tiempo brindar un soporte adecuado al sistema. De ahí surge la idea de contar con una herramienta basada en la tecnología Web Service Desk, nacida en los últimos años con estos fines. Service Desk es una tecnología basada en los estándares de ITIL, y con gran aceptación en el mundo de las tecnologías y la información. Existe gran diversidad de esta tecnología Web, libre y propietaria. Después de estudios realizados en trabajos anteriores se decidió utilizar One Or Zero como Service Desk libre a desarrollar para darle soporte a las diferentes aplicaciones y servicios que presta la universidad dentro y fuera de la misma. El presente trabajo ofrece una personalización de el Service Desk One Or Zero denominado NovaDesk, para dar soporte a los usuarios de ETECSA, como una de las primeras entidades que usan Nova como sistema operativo. Para ello se analizaron las características de OOZ y los principales grupos de trabajo que deben existir para dar soporte a los diferentes niveles de usuarios, además de contar con un manual de instalación de Nova como elemento fundamental en la base de conocimientos de NovaDesk y las preguntas frecuentes relacionadas con el sistema. En estos momentos la aplicación se encuentra en la fase de pruebas.
In this paper, the following framework has been taken into consideration: (1) the institutional, manifested by the studies carried out by the Museo Pedagógico Nacional, where Pedro de Alcántara ...(1886) and Manuel Bartolomé Cossío (1913), as director, had a relevant role; (2) the pedagogical, with a first experience that begins with the Escuelas Modelo and concludes at this time with the Institutos Escuela, passing through the influence of the Institución Libre de Enseñanza (Cossío and Giner de los Ríos); (3) commercial ones, some distributing foreign models, but in many cases with clear Spanish exponents linked to teachers and pedagogues, mainly with the design of the Museo; and (4) furniture design itself, which contains dimensional, ergonomic and constructive criteria, both from foreign references and from our own models, observed in two generations of systems, attempting to provide a solution to the problem of the country's table-benches or desks.

Sedentary behavior at work contributes to detrimental cognitive outcomes (e.g., decreases in attention). The length of time that cognitive performance benefits are sustained following bouts of ...breaking up sitting (e.g., using sit-stand desks or walking) is not known. A narrative review of the literature was conducted using a systematic search strategy, with keywords related to breaking up sitting interventions in office-based environments and cognitive performance outcomes in the period immediately post the cessation of the breaking up sitting intervention. Three types of office-based breaking up sitting interventions were identified; 1) sit-stand desks, 2) walking desks and 3) cycling desks. From the eight studies which met the criteria, the impacts of these interventions on cognitive performance outcomes were mixed, with significant benefits in some studies and others reporting no benefit. Of the cognitive domains assessed, working memory, attention, and psychomotor function showed significant sustained improvement for up to 30 minutes post intervention. While there are benefits to a key set of cognitive performance domains following breaking up sitting interventions in office-based settings, no studies have evaluated whether benefits to cognitive performance persist for longer than 30 minutes after the breaking up sitting intervention. Furthermore, specific applications of these cognitive benefits to tasks outside of work (e.g., driving home from work) are unknown.
One of the most central material elements in schools at the end of the 19th century
was, undoubtedly, the furniture used by the students: the school desk. Appearing as an
alternative to the old ...collective benches and tables, disseminated at the World’s Fairs,
debated at Pedagogical and Hygiene Congresses, the creation and production of the
so-called chair-desks contributed to establish a rising school industry. In the Empire of
Brazil, this matter came to be vigorously debated in the 1880s. With few exceptions,
the investigation of the beginnings of this production of school desks in the country
is still a subject lacking historiographical treatment. In this context, this paper aims at
investigating the process of “invention” and circulation of the first patented school desk
in Brazil, on the initiative of its inventor, Professor Gustavo José Alberto, between 1881
and 1884. Therefore, it is based on the methodological resources of microhistory and
uses, as privileged sources, periodicals of that time published in the Imperial Court and
official reports. The findings point out that the interest by the professor in producing a
prototype of a school desk seems that it resulted from his teaching experience and contact
with pedagogical debates – then in progress – in which he played an active role. At the
same time, upon creating a desk model to be used in his school, he decided to patent it
in the Ministry of Agriculture in order to subsequently offer it to the government. At that
moment, the government was making significant purchases of this material, both via
imports and local manufacturing.
Um dos elementos materiais de maior centralidade na escola do final do Oitocentos
foi, sem dúvida, o móvel destinado aos estudantes: a carteira escolar. Emergindo como
alternativa aos antigos bancos e mesas coletivas, difundida nas Exposições Universais,
debatida nos Congressos Pedagógicos e de Higiene, a criação e a produção dos chamados
bancos-carteiras ajudaram a configurar uma nascente indústria escolar. No Brasil Império,
a década de 1880 foi o momento em que essa questão passou a ser debatida com vigor.
Salvo exceções, a investigação dos primórdios dessa produção de carteiras escolares no
país ainda é tema a reclamar tratamento historiográfico. Nesse contexto, o artigo tem
por objetivo investigar o processo de “invenção” e circulação da primeira carteira escolar
patenteada no Brasil, por iniciativa de seu inventor, o professor Gustavo José Alberto,
entre 1881 e 1884. Para tanto, ancora-se nos recursos metodológicos da micro-história
e toma como fontes privilegiadas jornais do período, publicados na Corte Imperial,
bem como relatórios oficiais. Os resultados apontam que o interesse do professor em
produzir um protótipo de banco escolar parece ter nascido de sua experiência docente e
de seu contato com debates pedagógicos então em andamento e dos quais tomou parte
ativa. Ao mesmo tempo, ao criar um modelo de carteira a ser utilizado em sua escola,
decidiu patenteá-lo junto ao Ministério da Agricultura para, posteriormente, oferecê-lo
ao governo, que, naquela época, vinha realizando compras significativas desse material,
tanto via importações quanto via fabricação local.
