Beide Formen des Informationshandelns werden geschlechterspezifisch beschrieben und sollen anhand verschiedener Ressourcen wie der Gesundheit, dem Wohlbefinden, dem Empowerment, dem Involvement und der sozialen Unterstützung erklärt werden.MethodeEs wurde eine Online-Befragung einer für die deutsche Bevölkerung stratifizierten Stichprobe (N = 3000) durchgeführt. Erfasst wurden die beiden Formen des Informationshandelns sowie ihre theoretisch abgeleiteten Prädiktoren. Neben deskriptiven Analysen dienen blockweise Regressionsanalysen dazu, geschlechterspezifisch die Prädiktoren der Suche und Vermeidung zu identifizieren.ErgebnisseDie Informationssuche findet häufiger statt als die Informationsvermeidung. Beide unterscheiden sich nur in geringem Maß zwischen Männern und Frauen. Für Suche und Vermeidung zeigen sich die stärksten Zusammenhänge mit dem Involvement der Befragten. Für die Suche sind zudem auch Ressourcen des Bedrohungsmanagements bedeutsam, während die Vermeidung mit dem psychischen Wohlbefinden und der sozialen Unterstützung assoziiert ist. Geschlechterübergreifend zeigen sich ähnliche Assoziationsmuster.DiskussionGeschlechterübergreifend zeigt sich, dass mittels gesundheitskommunikativer Maßnahmen das Involvement der Bevölkerung unterstützt und Ressourcen des Bedrohungsmanagements gestärkt werden müssen, um die Suche zu fördern und der Vermeidung entgegenzuwirken. Zudem wird deutlich, dass Vermeider*innen als eine zentrale Zielgruppe mehr Aufmerksamkeit erhalten sollten.

International stellen sie bereits ein implementiertes ...Konzept dar und dienen der Früherkennung der Risikofaktoren von Pflegebedürftigkeit sowie chronischen Erkrankungen. So ist eine gezielte gesundheitliche Beeinflussung von Merkmalen des Lebensstils, der Lebenslage und der Umwelt möglich. Dieses niedrigschwellige Beratungs- und Begleitkonzept für ältere Menschen wurde innerhalb des Kooperationsprojektes „DaHeim – in Emlichheim“ weiterentwickelt, erprobt und evaluiert.MethodikDas Projekt basierte auf der Intervention von vier Beratungsgesprächen innerhalb von 10 Monaten, durchgeführt von einer akademisch qualifizierten Pflegefachkraft. Das Konzept schloss die Empfehlungen und Instrumente aus der Literatur ein. Die Begleitforschung analysierte mithilfe eines Mixed-method-Designs den Verlauf des Gesundheitszustands der Studienteilnehmer*innen und die Akzeptanz des Angebotes.ErgebnisseDas Angebot einen präventiven Hausbesuch zu erhalten, stieß auf breites Interesse in der Bevölkerung. Im Fokus der Beratungsgespräche standen primär die Themenschwerpunkte „Bewegung“, „Ernährung“ und „soziale Teilhabe“. Die Beratungen verbesserten insbesondere den psychischen Gesundheitszustand und lösten deutlich positive Effekte wie den Prozess von Empowerment, Wohlbefinden und Zufriedenheit bei den Teilnehmenden aus. Die Pflegefachkraft wurde als Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort akzeptiert und ihre hohe Fachlichkeit schaffte Vertrauen.SchlussfolgerungenPräventive Hausbesuche ermöglichen älteren Menschen ein selbstbestimmtes Leben im eigenen Zuhause, da die erweiterten Kenntnisse über präventives Verhalten und die erhöhte Motivation dieses umzusetzen ihre Autonomie verbessern. Dieses Angebot der Sensibilisierung im Hinblick auf Gesundheitsförderung und -erhaltung sollte über Leistungen des Sozialgesetzbuchs nicht nur für alle Bürger*innen zugänglich, sondern vor allem umgesetzt werden.
Abstract
European Company Law, a European Union (EU)-level company law (as ‘federal policy’), has passed the 50-year mark these years. Twenty-five of those years were dominated by a market function ...approach, the ‘black-box’ approach, where the company was seen from outside and guaranteeing necessary information for those outside the corporation, rational information users (namely long-term creditors and investors), was paramount. A transformation away from this approach began some 30 years ago; the last 20 years were dominated, first, by an approach that strongly increased participation and true multiple ‘voices’ in companies—as an approach meant to empower and heat up discussion, it can be termed the ‘red-box’ approach. This is an approach where more structural information and empowerment took place, and relations within the company were more in the focus of the legislature as well. The advent of new economic sociology could also be sensed, as the EU became more of a political Union or the concept of a competition of legislatures became a potential reality, such as with Centros. As a common denominator, the ‘wisdom of the crowds’ would seem to be more in the focus. The second phase of these last 20 years, primarily in the last decade, was then dominated by a fixing of certain long-term goals from the outside, fostering a goal of sustainability. Again, important general trends of theoretical thought emerged, and this phase can therefore be seen as a ‘green-box’ approach. A framework constitution of values is the aim of such an approach. This article brings together EU company law as a federal task and the development of these three phases, including the history of thought and political developments, as well as their theoretical and political underpinning. The article does this mainly for development at the EU level (ius communitatis), but also provides a link to (comparative) national developments and inspiration (ius commune).
This paper will examine how the power of filming technology – connected the development of the smartphone – leads to a process of democratization that brings increasing control of information, ...images, and events to the individual person. Filming loses its elite quality and is brought down to the level of the masses. Gradually people are empowered to both film and to be filmed. This right is important for human development in a technological world which involves the ability to participate in media technology and not to be overpowered or controlled by it. It will demonstrate this through a reading of Walter Benjamin’s ideas concerning the technologies of film in the age of mechanical reproduction. It will apply Benjamin’s ideas to the current situation where news and social media such as TikTok which are increasingly shaped by the contributions of individuals. It will also show the negative implications, and will conclude that the human empowerment that accompanies video technologies needs to be accompanied by the cultivation of trust.
Organisations worldwide are creating learning organisations for knowledge acquisition & sharing, collectively empowering people toward innovation and change, creating value for customers & ...shareholders, etc. Output of a learning organisation not only improves operating efficiency by modifying products, processes & services but also leads to distinctive advantages and outsells the competition. Environmental turbulence is transforming general insurance organisations from mechanical to LOs to remain competitive, efficient and effective. Data for the study were collected from 498 employees of 11 general insurance company GIC organisations functioning in the union territory of J&K. After data reduction and scale validation through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, hypotheses were tested using structural equation modelling and one-way ANOVA. The study concluded that for ensuring successful LO, learning aptitude, knowledge and training must be encouraged. Further, empowerment, shared vision, teamwork, reward, effective communication, and supportive leadership are also required for encouraging employees to perform outstanding at the individual level, group level, and corporation level.
L'article porte sur le projet collectif d'orientation (PCO) et sa mise en oeuvre avec des groupes de personnes en chômage de longue durée. Le PCO a trois grandes dimensions, soit l'action, ...l'apprentissage et la reconnaissance, et une directionnalité vers la formation et le travail. Les résultats soutiennent que les personnes participantes développent leur pouvoir d'agir en contribuant à leur communauté. Elles réalisent des apprentissages et peuvent bénéficier d'espaces de reconnaissance de leurs compétences. La transformation du rapport à soi et à la communauté lors des PCO peut devenir un moteur pour des projets favorisant l'insertion sociale et professionnelle.
El artículo tiene como objetivo presentar las formas en que las mujeres rompen cotidianidades y comienzan a tejer redes con otras mujeres, a fin de fortalecer su presencia en el espacio ...público-político. A través de una propuesta del proceso de empoderamiento en grados (afectivo, familiar, dialógico, laboral, económico, político y legal) se considera mostrar algunas estrategias que van marcando características que les permiten posicionarse en los espacios en que se movilizan. En esta lógica, se analiza primeramente las diversas concepciones sobre la categoría empoderamiento como fundamento del trabajo empírico posterior. El contexto de estudio es la Asociación de Madres Solteras Unidas de Sinaloa que cuenta con 15 coordinaciones, una de ellas ubicada en Elota, en la Cruz, Sinaloa, en donde se impartieron talleres y mediante la técnica de observación se seleccionaron intencionalmente a dos mujeres a quienes se les realizo una entrevista episódica.The article aims to present the ways in which women break everyday life and begin to weave networks with other women, in order to strengthen their presence in the publicpolitical space. Through a proposal of the process of empowerment in degrees (affective, family, dialogic, labor, economic, political and legal) it is considered to show some strategies that are marking characteristics that allow them to position themselves in the spaces in which they are mobilized. In this logic, the different conceptions about the category empowerment as the basis for later empirical work are analyzed first. The study context is the Association of United Single Mothers of Sinaloa which has 15 coordinations, one of them located in Elota, in La Cruz, Sinaloa, where workshops were held and by means of the observation technique two women were intentionally selected to who had an episodic interview.
Employee empowerment and the work performance are induced by certain constructs such as job related workplace cultures, place of work relationships, and workers’ observations over employment and ...opinions regarding organization. Main object of the study is to identify the affiliation amid study constructs and the organizational constructs mentioned above. Age, gender, professional description, experience (in years), matrimonial position, number of dependents, number of children and annual income (in lakhs) were individual specific features taken up in the present study. Data has been collected from over 225 banking & hospitality workers in Puducherry. To achieve the main goal of the study, one-way ANOVA is used. Study found the workers aged above 50 years with more than 4 dependents and earning lesser income of below Rs.4 lakhs per annum with no children and those with less than 10 years of experience are having lesser empowerment and work performance. Suggestions such as proper counselling, grievance redressel by the organization and rise in monetary benefits are provided for enhancing empowerment and professional performance of the workers.
