V splošni javnosti in v raziskavah v raznih strokah pridobivajo ozelenjeni fasadni ovoji stavb vse večjo pozornost. Sistemi vertikalnih ozelenitev imajo pomembno vlogo kot izrazni element stavbe, ...hkrati pa se obravnavajo kot poseben tip zelene infrastrukture z raznovrstnimi pozitivnimi učinki predvsem na gosto pozidanih urbanih območjih. Raziskava se osredotoča na zaznavo ozelenjenih fasad v urbanih ambientih. Poudarek je na vizualnem zaznavanju in dojemanju prijetnosti ali vizualne kakovosti raznovrstnih prostorov glede na to, ali stavba ima ozelenjeno fasado ali ne. Odnos javnosti in vrednotenje urbanega odprtega prostora s proučevanimi zelenimi elementi smo preverjali na Nizozemskem in v Sloveniji. V spletno anketo so bili vključeni prikazi prostorskih situacij, o katerih so anketiranci izrazili mnenje. Ciljni skupini sta bili širša javnost in študenti arhitekturno-urbanističnih smeri. Kljub splošnemu rezultatu o večji prijetnosti bolj zelenega mestnega okolja, ki kaže na to, da večina ljudi tudi vertikalne ozelenitve dojema kot prispevek h kakovosti urbanih ambientov, se med proučevanima skupinama v posamezni državi pojavljajo razlike.

U radu se analizira ovaj razvoj na primjerima u Rijeci i riječkoj okolici.
Since the 19th century is the century of the development of structures, the 20th century is the century of the development of new construction and finishing works materials. Thus, the development and use of the structures introduced in the 19th and 20th centuries is also followed by the development of the façade systems. The paper analyzes the development of the case studies in Rijeka and its surrounding area.

Building requirements to be opened to the public space of the city has an impact on their architecture. The article brings a perspective on night image of tensile facades in contemporary ...architecture. Resulting insights have been presented in architectural context, constructional design of facade membrane structure and illumination. The contribution highlights a need to solve night image of facade design and thereby design of lighting equipment. Illustrative examples are based on completed works which documented various cases of night image of facades. The paper brings three basic groups of lighting design application. Nowadays, it is an essential condition of quality in architecture to design installation and programming of night lighting design for tensile constructions (facades).

Abstract The city of Singaraja is an old town in Bali that has a complex numerous cultural heritage, including the Dutch corridor. It was built after Durch imperialism invaded Bali in 1846. Moreover, ...the colonial government also constructed public facilities, such as offices, commercial buildings, public services, and houses. Since the city was targetted as a tourist destination by local government, the area has been significantly modified; even some public facilities have been demolished. The study aims to determine the façade typology of colonial buildings and their evolution. Certain causal factors have already been identified. The objective of the study is to determine conservation policy for this corridor. Theories of conservation and spatial restructuring have been used to inform data analysis and synthesis. The research suggests three major typologies of such facades.These arethe original facade (Type A), a partial change (Type B), and a complete change (Type C). Demographic factors, physical environment, and new cultural elements are considered as determining factors that encourage changes to Type B and Type C; whereas new elements occur in Type A. Consequently, techniques for physical conservation, preservation, restoration, and reconstruction are suggested. Whenever possible, restoration is supported by finance and policy initiatives. The study concludes that old buildings need to be supported by government intervention: legal protection and penalties, loans and subsidies, adaptively-reused development, and appropriate planning. Keywords: conservation, colonial building’ façade, the Dutch Line Abstrak Kota Singaraja merupakan salah satu kota lama yang memiliki beberapa peninggalan budaya, di antaranya Jalur Belanda. Pemerintah Kolonial Belanda membangun jalur ini setelah menguasai Bali pada tahun 1846. Sepanjang jalur ini, Belanda membangun fasilitas kota, seperti perkantoran, perdagangan, fasilitas pelayanan umum, dan rumah-rumah dinas. Sejak Kota Singaraja dicanangkan sebagai obyek pariwisata oleh Pemerintah setempat, kawasan ini mengalami banyak perubahan, bahkan terjadi penghancuran bangunan-bangunan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tipologi fasade bangunan kolonial dan sejumlah perubahan yang terjadi, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menghasilkan sejumlah rekomendasisebagai upaya pendekatan konservasi pada fasade bangunan kolonial di Jalur Belanda di Kota Singaraja. Analisa data dilakukan melalui pendekatan teori konservasi dan teori bentuk, sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah sequential explanatory. Studi ini menghasilkan tiga kategori fasade: fasade bangunan masih asli (Tipe A), fasade yang telah mengalami perubahan sebagian (Tipe B), dan fasade yang sudah berubah total (Tipe C). Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan fasade pada kategori B dan C adalah faktor pertambahan penduduk, lingkungan alam fisik, dan pengaruh kebudayaan masyarakat lain. Pada kategori A, faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah adanya penemuan baru. Metode dan teknik konservasi secara fisik menggunakan preservasi, restorasi, dan rekonstruksi, sedangkan metode nonfisik dilakukan secara restorasi dalam konteks intangible. Penelitan ini menyatakan bahwa bangunan kuno perlu lebih diberdayakan melalui mekanisme legal protection (perlindungan hukum) dan penalties (hukuman), pinjaman dan subsidi, dan adaptively-reused development. Abstrak Studi ini mengambil lokasi di sepanjang Koridor Legian, Kuta-Bali. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mencapai dua tujuan utama. Pertama, mengindentifikasi wujud dari beragam fasade bangunan ...yang ada di sepanjang koridor ini. Kedua untuk mengevaluasi konformansi bangunan-bangunan yang ada. Adapun regulasi kunci yang dijadikan acuan adalah Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Bali Nomor 5 tahun 2005 tentang Persyaratan Arsitektur Bangunan Gedung. Ketiga, di dalam prosesnya, penelitian ini juga menstudi ketidakefisienan dalam pemanfaatan lahan yang dilihat dari aspek ketinggian bangunan. Sehingga studi ini memfokuskan bahasannya pada bentuk dasar bangunan; langgam arsitektur; ketinggian bangunan; dan pemanfaatan material bangunan. Metoda kualitatif deskriptif telah diterapkan oleh penelitian ini, yang didukung oleh dokumentasi foto terkait 129 unit fasade yang disurvey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 62% bangunan tidak menerapkan langgam arsitektur Bali seperti yang disyaratkan; 61% menggunakan material fabrikasi (bukan alami); dan 65,8% merupakan bangunan berlantai tunggal. Kondisi tersebut mengindikasikan terjadinya pelangggaran terhadap tata aturan yang berlaku di seluruh Bali, dan ketidakefisiensian dalam pemanfaatan lahan pada Koridor Legian, dimana nilai ekonomis lahan tergolong relatif sangat tinggi.. The first is to identify forms of facade exhibited by various structures existing along this Corridor. Second, to evaluate the conformance of buildings. The key legislation here is Local Regulation No 5 year 2005 regarding Building Codes and Architectural Requirements. Third, in the process to investigate inefficiencies in land use based on building heights. So this study focuses on basic building forms, architectural styles, building heights, and the use of building materials. Descriptive qualitative research methods are used, supported with photographic documentation of all the 129 units being surveyed. Research findings demonstrate that 62 % of these building units do not incorporate Balinese architectural elements as is required; 61 % use various fabricated building materials; and 65.8 % of the units are single storey structures. These conditions indicate violations of building codes and regulations enforced across the Island, as well as inefficient land use within the Legian Corridor where land price is relatively very high. Sredinom 90-ih godina prošlog stoljeća lutkarsko kazalište za odrasle u Hrvatskoj doživljavalo je svoje zlatne dane i različitošću poetika ukazivalo na vlastitu zrelost. U takvom okruženju 1996. ...godine pojavile su se Kruna Tarle i družina Fasade, obogativši hrvatsko lutkarstvo teatrom objekta i materijala u takozvanom kazalištu poetskih slika. Riječ je o scenskom svijetu jedinstvenom u hrvatskom lutkarstvu u kojemu je Tarle, spajajući likovnost, pokret, ples, materijal i masku, prodrla duboko u rječitost vizualnih aspekata izvedbe. Pritom je odbacila klasičan dramski sukob, zamijenivši ga iskonskim susretom živog i neživog, brišući međusobne razlike i pomičući stupanj (ne)živosti s čovjeka na materijal i obrnuto. Ujedno, odbacivši riječi, progovorila je oživljenim slikama, stvarajući bogat svijet asocijacija i značenjskih apstrakcija.
U radu je prikazana simulacija i eksperimentalno istraživanje utjecaja indirektne zelene fasade (IZF) na toplinsko ponašanje zgrade. Istraživanje je provedeno na lokaciji Punat na otoku Krku u ...Hrvatskoj tijekom ljeta 2018. godine. Primjenom IZF-a utjecaj sunčevog zračenja smanjen je do 505 W/m2, a temperature na vanjskoj površini fasade smanjene su do 13,5 K. Eksperimentalni su rezultati korišteni za simuliranje toplinske ugodnosti u unutrašnjosti zgrade primjenom jednostavnog modela. Kada je IZF postavljen preko čitavog zida izloženog suncu, prosječno smanjenje operativne temperature iznosilo je do 6 K za novu zgradu, tj. do 5 K za tradicionalnu kamenu kuću.
