One of the important representatives of minimal story and existentialist philosophy, Ferit Edgü is a writer, poet and artist who has produced many literary works. The painting and ceramics he was ...interested in before his literary career, and the art education he received as a result of this, has influenced him and his literary life in a different way and has given direction in a sense. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in France and returned to Turkey in 1964. The writer went to Pirkanis village of Hakkâri to perform his military service, where he undergoes the greatest change of his life. What you see and live in this small village returns to him as a great experience. The events that he witnessed and lived here are not only a source of inspiration for both private and literary life, but also changes all the balances of the thought system. His experience, impressions and observations in Hakkâri are a turning point for his life and career. Hakkâri, who changed his whole life and style, is the city where he was born again in his own words. His style of writing, which is divided into two parts before and after Hakkâri, also evolves in another direction in the intellectual dimension. In Hakkâri, where he is a substitute officer teacher, children, women and men he knows live in their works. The period before the pre- Hakkâri, in which the poetical productions of Edgü are predominant, are separated by certain lines. The pre- Hakkâri period, in which the poetical productions of Edgü are predominant, is distinguished from the post-Hakkâri period by the precise lines. The author examines the social-individual facts in his post- Hakkâri works, where his sociological point of view is dominant. He is identified with the name of Hakkâri’de Bir Mevsim, which he strengthened with what he experienced during his military service. This city, which has a breaking point in his life and which he considers the beginning of his second life, has a very wide meaning for Edgü, both for his private life and for his literary production and style.
Narrative texts are event-based texts that depend on the act of narration, require the unity of person, time, and space, and in which a situation word turns into another situation word with an action ...word. On the other hand, short stories, which can be evaluated within the narrative type texts, are literary products based on the intensification of the speech act, often consisting of a few words, aiming to create a shock effect on the reader. Ferit Edgü is one of the most important representatives of this genre in Turkish literature. The aim of this study is to subject the meaning production process of Ferit Edgü's short story "Yılan" The Snake to an experimental reading/analysis from the concrete discursive level to the narrative level and from there to the deep level, which has an abstract and dynamic structure. In the analysis of the text, semiotic methods that enable this kind of experimental reading/analysis were used. As a result of the analysis, it can be said that the basic meaning of "power" in the deep structure of the text emerges from the opposition between "weak and strong", and that the related story is the reflection of a millennia-old struggle that continues on the diachronic plane.
Öncelikle Osmanlı Devleti’nin Avrupa karşısında askeri alandaki aldığı yenilgilerle belirginleşen geri kalmışlığı, daha sonra siyasi, hukuki, sosyal, eğitim ve teknik gibi alanları da kapsayacak ...şekilde devleti bütünüyle bir modernleşme sürecine yöneltmiştir. Modernleşmede örnek alınan Avrupa’da 19. yüzyılda egemen düşünce paradigması olarak pozitivizm Osmanlı modernleştiricilerini etkilemiştir. Tanzimat sonrası gerçekleşen modernleşme ve yanlış Batılılaşmaya yönelik itiraz ve eleştiriler II. Meşrutiyet dönemi aydınlarını yeniden bir muhasebe yapmaya itmiştir. Söz konusu dönemde güçlenen İslamcılık akımının yeniden İslamileşme paradigması aynı zamanda yeni bir modernleşme anlayışının da ortaya çıkmasını sağlamıştır. Türk toplumunda modernleşmenin nasıl ve ne kadar gerçekleşeceği meselesi doğal olarak farklı modernleşme modellerini de beraberinde getirmiştir. Osmanlı modernleşmesinde önemli bir dönüm noktası kabul edilen II. Meşrutiyet sonrasında belirgin hale gelen Batıcılık, İslamcılık ve Türkçülük akımlarının her biri kendine özgü bir modernleşme anlayışına ve iddiasına sahiptir. Dönemin İslamcılık düşüncesinin yayın organı olan Sırât-ı müstakîm/Sebîlürreşâd dergisinde İslam ve Batılılaşma tartışmaları hakikatte “nasıl ve ne kadar modernleşelim” sorusu etrafında toparlanmaktadır. Osmanlı’dan Cumhuriyet’e geçiş döneminin aydınlarından ve Sebîlürreşâd dergisinin yazarlarından olan Ömer Ferit Kam’ın Avrupa’yı doğrudan gözlemlemek ve izlenimlerini derginin okuyucularına aktarmak amacıyla çıktığı Avrupa seyahati, günümüze kadar uzanan Batılılaşma tartışmalarına katkı sağlamaktadır. Doğu kültürüne vakıf olmasına rağmen yazarın bu gezi öncesi Avrupa ile teması yalnızca Batı düşüncesinin eserleri vasıtasıyla olmuştur. 1913 yılında yaptığı seyahat sırasındaki gözlemlerini 8 seri mektup halinde Sebîlürreşâd dergisinde yayımlayan Kam’ın söz konusu gezi yazıları Batılılaşma görüşlerini ortaya koymaktadır. Makalede İslamcı aydın Ömer Ferit Kam’ın Avrupa seyahati ile doğrudan gözlemlediği Avrupa’da kalkınma sebepleri, Osmanlı Devleti’nin nasıl modernleşeceği ve bunların din ile ilişkisi konularındaki görüşleri çerçevesinde Batılılaşma anlayışı analiz edilmiştir. İslam kültürüne derin bir vukufiyeti ile bilinen Kam Avrupa modernleşmesinde üretim, teknik, bilimsel ilerleme, eğitim ve imaret konularına dikkat çekmektedir. Milli kimliğin muhafaza edilerek teknik bir modernleşme ile ilerlemenin sağlanacağını iddia eden yazar, Cumhuriyet döneminde de sıkça çeşitli tartışmalarla alevlenmiş olan yanlış Batılılaşma anlayışını eleştirmektedir. Yazar, bununla birlikte Avrupa’da imaret, eğitim ve kültüre verilen önemden övgüyle bahsetmektedir. Kam, Avrupa medeniyetinin temellerinin tarım, üretim ve eğitime dayandığını; bizde ise Tanzimat’tan itibaren Avrupa’nın kültür kurumlarının model alındığını, önceliğin ve doğru modernleşme reformlarının tarım, üretim ve teknik alanlarda olması gerektiğini vurgulamaktadır. Batının teknik anlamda gelişmişliğini yerinde gözlemleyen Kam’ın Osmanlı toplumunun terakki edebilmesinin reçetelerini de yazdığı mektuplarda görmek mümkündür. Öncelikle Avrupa medeniyetinin terakkisini bir bütün olarak değerlendiren yazar, üretimde öncelikle tarımın geliştirilmesini tavsiye etmektedir. Batı toplumunun kültürel kurumlarının örnek alınması buna karşılık zirai ve teknik gelişmişliğinin ve çalışma disiplinlerinin alınmamasını “kel başa şimşir kaşık” benzetmesiyle anlatmaktadır. Medeniyetten uzaklaşmanın Müslümanları helak uçurumuna ve yok olmaya yaklaştırdığını iddia eden Kam, tek çıkar yolun ilerlemiş milletlerin yolunu takiple mümkün olduğunu söyler. Ferit Kam’ın modernleşme anlayışı Batı’nın çalışma, gayret, disiplin ve düzen gibi modern hayatın gerekli kıldığı çalışma ahlakının yeniden kazanılması merkezinde çerçevelenmektedir. Ferit Kam’ın modernleşme düşüncesinin mensubu olduğu İslamcılık düşüncesinin paralelinde geliştiği ve hatta onlara göre daha ılımlı Batı algısı ve anlayışına sahip olduğu söylenebilir. Türk toplumunda terakkinin İslami temellere riayet ederek yeniden canlanabileceği düşüncesini savunan yazar, öncelikli görevin devlete düştüğünü; teknik ve kültürel alanda dengeli bir yenileşmenin terakkiyi sağlayacağını ifade etmektedir. Ferit Kam’da mutlak reddiyecilik veya kökten kabul anlayışının dışında seçici, titiz ve rasyonel şekilde Batı’nın değerlendirilmesi ve örnek alınması görüşü hâkimdir.
The backwardness period of the Ottoman State, which started first with defeats in the military field against European countries, forced the state to a total innovation and modernization effort, including the political, legal, social, educational and technical fields over time. The positivist thought that prevailed in the 19th century in Europe, taken as a model in modernization, influenced the Ottoman intellectuals and reformers. It can be said that the objections and reactions to modernization and extreme westernization following “the Tanzimat” period promoted the intellectuals of 2nd Constitutional Period to review. It is seen that the improving Islamism thought in this period allowed the re-Islamization paradigm and a new modernization approach to be presented. The problem of how, how much and to what extent modernization will take place in the state and society also brought along different modernization approaches. Each of the westernism, Islamism and Turkism movements, which became apparent after the Second Constitutional Monarchy, which was considered as an important milestone in Ottoman modernization, has a unique approach and claim of modernization. The discussions on Islam and westernization are actually centered on the question of “how should we modernize and how much modernization should we allow?” in the Sırât-ı Müstakîm/Sebîlürreşâd journal, which was the media outlet of the Islamist thought of the period. A trip to Europe by Ömer Ferit Kam, who was one of the intellectuals of the transition period from the Ottoman Empire to the Turkish Republic and one of the writers of The Sebîlürreşâd journal, in order to directly observe the Europe and report his impressions to the readers, contributes to the discussions on westernization until today. The author's contact with Europe before this trip was only through the works of Western thought despite his knowledge of Eastern culture. The travel writings of Kam, who published his observations during his trip in 1913 in 8 series of letters in the Sebîlürreşâd journal, present his views on westernization. Development reasons of Europe, which Islamist intellectual Ömer Ferit Kam directly observed during his trip to Europe, how the Ottoman would modernize and his westernization approach within the framework of his views on their relation with the religion were analyzed in the article. Kam known with his much experience in Islamic culture attracts attention on the issues of production, technique, scientific progress, education and hospice. The author, who claims that technical modernization can be achieved by preserving national identity, criticizes the wrong westernization approach, which was frequently flared up with various discussions during the Republican period. However, the author praises the importance given to hospice, education and culture in Europe. Kam emphasizes that the fundamentals of European civilization are based on agriculture, production and education and the cultural institutions of Europe are modeled as of the Tanzimat period and the priority and correct modernization reforms should be in agriculture, production and technical fields. It is possible to see the formulas of Kam, who observed the technical development of the West onsite, in the letters he wrote for the progress of the Ottoman society. First of all, the author, who evaluates the progress of European civilization as a whole, recommends the development of production, primarily agriculture. He expresses the fact that cultural institutions of Western society is taken as an example but not their agricultural and technical development and working disciplines with the analogy of “ a square peg in a round hole”. Kam, who claims that moving away from civilization brings Muslims closer to the abyss of destruction and extinction, says that the only way out is to follow the way of the developed countries. Ferit Kam's modernization approach is framed in the center of regaining the working ethic of the West, such as work, effort, discipline and order, which modern life necessitates. It can be said that Ferit Kam’s modernization thought developed in parallel with the idea of Islamism, to which he is connected, and even he has a more moderate Western perception and approach than the Islamists. The author, who argues the idea that progress in Turkish society can be revived by complying with Islamic foundations, states that the primary duty falls to the state, and a balanced innovation in the technical and cultural fields will ensure the progress. Apart from an approach of absolute rejectionism or radical acceptance, the view of selective, meticulous and rational evaluation and modeling of the West is dominant in Ferit Kam’s philosophy.
Seri La3+-barium nanoferit telah dibuat melalui metode solid-state reaction termodifikasi tanpa sintering dan dengan sintering pada temperatur 600, 800 dan 1000 °C. Pengaruh temperatur sintering ...terhadap komposisi, struktur, ukuran kristal, sifat magnetik dan kemampuan menyerap gelombang mikro dari La3+-barium nanoferit dikarakterisasi masing-masing menggunakan XRD, VSM dan VNA. Hasil karakterisasi menunjukkan bahwa La3+-barium nanoferit yang di-sintering pada 600 ºC mempunyai kemampuan menyerap gelombang mikro yang paling baik, dengan rata-rata nilai reflection loss sebesar -16,2165 dB pada frekuensi 10,86 GHz. Ferit terdiri dari tiga fasa kristal yaitu BaLa2Fe2O7, BaFe11.9O19, dan Fe21.33O32 dengan nilai Hc yang rendah 231,65 Tesla. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa temperatur sintering sangat berpengaruh terhadap La3+-barium ferit sebagai penyerap gelombang mikro.
Circulator merupakan perangkat elektronik yang memiliki fungsi penting pada suatu sistem pemancar dan penerima gelombang frekuensi radio (RF), di mana magnet permanen dapat berfungsi sebagai pengarah ...gelombang (waveguide). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggantikan magnet permanen barium ferit (BaFe12O19) yang umumnya digunakan pada circulator dengan magnet permanen berpengikat (bonded) neodymium besi boron (NdFeB). Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah serbuk NdFeB crashed ribbon dengan menggunakan metode pengepresan green-compact yang divariasikan pada tekanan 25, 50, 75, dan 100 kg.cm-2 dan dilanjutkan proses pemanasan pada temperatur 200 C selama 60 menit. Karakterisasi sifat magnet dilakukan dengan Permagraph, diperoleh nilai intrinsik optimum dari sampel 100 kg.cm-2 , induksi remanen (Br) = 5,37 kG, koersifitas (HcJ) = 4,74 kOe, produk energi maksimum (BHmax) = 2,39 MGOe, dan densitas (ρ) = 4,89 gr.cm-3 . Hasil pengukuran kuat medan permukaan (B) dengan Gauss-meter menunjukkan nilai 800 G. Magnet dengan karakteristik optimum diterapkan pada circulator kemudian dikarakterisasi dengan Vector Network Analyzer dan menghasilkan voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) = 1,354, isolasi = -17,165 dB dan kerugian penyisipan = -0,200 dB pada titik kerja 3,00 GHz, sehingga magnet berpengikat (bonded) NdFeB ini dapat diterapkan pada S-band circulator yang bekerja pada rentang frekuensi 2,00-4,00 GHz.
Building stones have long been one of the most widely used construction materials in the world. Building stones used in historical monuments are deteriorated partly or completely depending on the ...environmental and atmospheric effects. In recent years, non-destructive test methods have been used to assess deterioration of building stones used in historical monuments. Gödene stone is one of the building stones being widely used in the historical buildings in the Konya region, Central Anatolia. The most deterioration effects are observed in the Ferit Paşa Cistern among the historical structures built with Gödene stone in the region. The aim of this study is to assess the deteriorating effects in the street façade of the Ferit Paşa Cistern via non-destructive testing methods (Schmidt hardness rebound value, P-wave velocity, humidity measurement and thermal imaging) and create maps of deteriorated features. Turkey’s historic places are integrated to Turkish culture, efforts are made to conserve heritage through rehabilitation. Therefore, this study will help developers and federal managers during the project planning stage by providing technical data.
Küçürek öykü ve varoluşçu felsefenin önemli temsilcilerinden biri olan Ferit Edgü, pek çok yazınsal türde yapıt vermiş bir yazar, şair ve sanatçıdır. Yazınsal kariyerinden önce ilgi duyduğu resim, ...seramik ve buna koşut olarak aldığı sanat eğitimi onu ve yazınsal yaşamını farklı yönde etkilemiş, bir anlamda yön vermiştir. Fransa’da Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi Resim Bölümünde okumuş ve 1964 yılında yurda dönmüştür. Askerlik görevini yerine getirmek üzere Flakkâri’nin Pirkanis Köyü’ne giden yazar, burada yaşamının en büyük değişimini geçirir. Bu küçük köyde yaşayıp gördükleri ona büyük bir deneyim olarak geri döner. Burada tanık olduğu ve yaşadığı olaylar gerek özel gerekse yazınsal yaşamına esin kaynağı olmakla kalmaz, düşünce sisteminin tüm dengelerini değiştirir. Hakkâri yazarın gerek özel gerekse yazınsal yaşamında tam anlamıyla bir değişim noktasıdır. Bu kent biçemine yeni bir bakış açısı katar. Odağma bireyi alan yazar onun varoluş sorununu uyumsuzluk boyutuyla birleştirerek farklı bir anlayışla anlatır. Bu açıdan bu çalışmanın öncelikli amacı yazarın Hakkâri ile kurduğu bağın derin anlamını onun söylemedikleri, anlatmadıklarından hareketle açımlamaktır. Yalnızca O/ Hakkâri ‘de Bir Mevsim isimli roman ele alındığında dahi yapıta isim veren, ona esin kaynağı olan bu kentin yazarın dünyasında çok derin ve kalıcı izler bırakmış olduğu açıkça görülür. Roman Edgü’nün Hakkâri öncesi ve sonrası yapıtlarının ne denli değişim gösterdiğinin en güzel örneğidir. Özellikle imgelerle güçlendirilmiş anlatı yapısı, biçem, bakış açısı izleksel bakımından roman bir mihenk taşıdır. Yazarın yalnızca kendini değil yazınsal yönünü yeniden yarattığı bu kentin etkileri betimsel içerik analiz yöntemi ile açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bununla yazan Varoluşçuluk ve küçürek öykü tülüne yakınlaştıran temel etkenin bu kent olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu çalışmayla Edgü’nün yalnızca özel yaşamının değil yazınsal kariyerinin Hakkâri öncesi ve sonrası olarak ayrıldığı bulgulanmıştır. Zira Hakkâri öncesi dönemde kaleme aldığı yapıtların ile sonrasındakiler arasında konu ve biçem yönünden oldukça çarpıcı farklılıklar vardır. O/Hakkâri 'de Bir Mevsim onun düşünce evrenine yeni bir bakış açısı katmıştır. Bu saptamaya yazarın özyaşamöyküsüyle roman arasında kurulan bağla ulaşılmıştır.
Pembuatan bahan magnetik barium heksaferit (BaFe12O19) telah dilakukan. Bahan magnet ini disintesis dengan menggunakan metode kopresipitasi. Sampel hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi dengan: (i) difraksi ...sinar-X untuk mengetahui fasa yang terbentuk, (ii) Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) untuk mengetahui struktur mikro, (iii) Vibrating Sample Magnetometers (VSM) untuk menentukan sifat magnet bahan, dan LCR-meter untuk mengetahui sifat listrik bahan. Sifat listrik bahan dikarakterisasi dengan memvariasikan suhu dan frekuensi. Hasil pengukuran sifat listrik menunjukkan bahwa barium heksaferit mempunyai resistivitas tinggi pada suhu ruang dan menunjukkan penurunan resistivitas ketika suhu dinaikan, menyerupai sifat logam, hingga di atas 400°C untuk daerah frekuensi 10-1 Hz sampai dengan 103 Hz. Konduktivitas listrik bahan meningkat pada suhu di atas 500 °C, dimana konduktivitas naik dari 10-6 S/cm hingga sekitar 10-4 S/cm untuk daerah frekuensi 10-1 Hz sampai dengan 105 Hz, sedangkan impedansi bahan turun sejalan dengan bertambahnya suhu, menyerupai resistivitas pada daerah frekuensi 10-1 Hz sampai dengan 103 Hz. Barium heksaferit mempunyai resistivitas rendah dan konduktivitas tinggi pada suhu di atas 500 °C, sehingga untuk aplikasi yang berhubungan dengan sifat listrik, bahan ini baik jika digunakan pada suhu di atas 500 °C.
