The study presents the results of the research examining the educational needs of the teachers and their interest about the themes of courses and educational programmes in connection with actual ...needs arising from changes in the Slovak education system due to the gradual promotion of inclusion. The main research method was the questionnaire aimed at detection of primary level teachers’ needs for the professional development and trainings, the identification of primary education teachers’ needs for successful implementation of inclusion in the learning of the pupils from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. This study presents if there exist statistically significant differences in self-reflexive perception of the need to improve in topics related to the implementation of inclusive education and the characteristics of respondents (age, length of the teaching practice, willingness to grow personally and to educate).
En el ambiente altamente tecnológico y visual en el que se desarrolla el proceso educativo, constituye una necesidad fundamental desarrollar la competencia visual de los educadores, pues así se ...garantiza que adquieran las habilidades para el manejo efectivo de la información visual. Este artículo presenta el resultado de un estudio piloto realizado con educadores de una institución educativa que fueron parte de un proceso formativo donde se plantea desarrollar 6 competencias, las cuales promueven en conjunto el desarrollo la competencia visual. En este diseño cuasi experimental pretest postest de un solo grupo, se aplicó un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. En la muestra participaron 43 educadores, cuyo desempeño fue evaluado mediante un test de 45 preguntas. Los resultados del pretest y postest de cada competencia se analizaron y se presentan por separado. Después de realizar el análisis descriptivo de las variables, el estudio de normalidad y el contraste para muestras relacionadas, se observa que hay diferencias estadísticamente significativas en el puntaje de las competencias 1, 2, 5 y 6. Sin embargo, se evidencia un retroceso en el puntaje de la competencia 3 y ninguna diferencia en la media de la competencia 4.
En este artículo presentamos una investigación realizada durante el curso académico 2013/2014 con alumnos/as de 1º de los Grados de Educación Infantil y Educación Primaria de la Universidad de ...Málaga. Esta propuesta pretende reconstruir la identidad docente desde el alumnado, para que los futuros docentes reflexionen sobre su identidad profesional desde su incorporación como alumno/a al sistema educativo hasta la actualidad. En este estudio, para poder dar respuesta a nuestros objetivos, hemos utilizado métodos de investigación biográfico-narrativos, empleando como herramienta de recogida de información la autobiografía académica. La información fue analizada en base a una serie de categorías analíticas concretadas posteriormente en categorías interpretativas. Las conclusiones muestran que al mirar al pasado, el profesorado puede analizar cómo se ha ido construyendo su identidad profesional. Al construir y reconstruir su biografía académica someten a análisis sus vivencias, las decisiones tomadas en su vida, que tipo de docentes les gustaría ser en un futuro, etc.
In the present study, we analyze the teaching staff perception of Adult Continuing Education in Andalusia (Spain) in relation to the degree of entrepreneurial skills present in their students. To ...give an answer the objective proposed, we assume a descriptive research design, where the collection approach and analysis of data have been defined as mixed, which include qualitative (interviews) and quantitative (questionnaire) techniques. For questionnaire validation the expert judgment technique was used, as they were selected by the «expert competence coefficient» or «K coefficient» procedure. The reliability analysis of the questionnaire through the Cronbach test was 0.957. The questionnaire was answered by 549 teachers from Continuing Education Centres in Andalusia and there were 23 in-depth interviews with key informants (centre directors and section coordinators). The results clearly show the perception, both of teachers and of those who exercise leadership, that the students of these schools are not sufficiently prepared to start their own business project, in spite of studying subjects of an enterprising culture. They consider that have not yet acquired the entrepreneurial skills necessary to create and manage an efficient business project, with lack of creativity constituting one of the biggest obstacles to that end. Also, the study shows the low incidence of programs of an entrepreneurial culture developed in these centres.

On the other hand, this volume explores the ...simultaneities of caesurae and traditions, ruptures and continuities in regional, national, European and global perspectives. It examines diverse paradoxes of supposedly old and new pedagogical cultures and practices as well as ambivalences of youth between rebellion and attachment to educational ideals. It also focuses on the questioning of schools and pedagogy, their relegitimisation and the intertwining of social democracy and socialism with educational reforms and traditions. In this way, the volume aims at the often described "clash of ideologies" in the interwar period and at the circulation of competing knowledge, so that it discusses the complex openness of 1918 in terms of educational history.
„1918“ bezeichnet mehr als das Ende des Ersten Weltkriegs. Der Jahresbezug begründet häufig auch bildungsgeschichtliche Narrative. Hingegen fragt der Band nach Gleichzeitigkeiten von Zäsuren und Tradierungen, Brüchen und Kontinuitäten in regionalen, nationalen, europäischen und globalen Perspektiven. Er untersucht vielfältige Paradoxien vermeintlich alter und neuer pädagogischer Kulturen und Praktiken ebenso wie Ambivalenzen der Jugend zwischen Aufbegehren und Anknüpfung an Bildungsideale. Auch die Infragestellung von Schule und Pädagogik, ihre Relegitimierung sowie die Verflechtung von Sozialdemokratie und Sozialismus mit Bildungsreformen und -traditionen werden fokussiert. Damit zielt der Band auf den vielfach beschriebenen «Kampf der Ideologien» in der Zwischenkriegszeit und auf die Zirkulation konkurrierender Wissen, sodass er bildungshistorisch die komplexe Offenheit von 1918 diskutiert.

La investigación en la acción del profesor posibilita la mejora continua de la educación y la vinculación entre la teoría y la práctica. Esta investigación, si bien tiene tradición en la formación ...del profesorado, adquiere, en estos momentos, una gran relevancia, puesto que ha de preceder y seguir a las reformas educativas. El objetivo de esta investigación es identificar la trayectoria de la investigación-acción en la formación del profesorado, a través de los artículos publicados en las revistas españolas de educación. El diseño de la misma es de examen y utiliza la metodología documental. Los resultados dan a conocer la productividad de esta línea de investigación duran te todo su desarrollo, aportando una base de datos con todos los artículos, y muestran sus dimensiones personales, sociales y cognitivas: grado de colaboración en las publicaciones, autores más productivos, grupos de investigación, principales instituciones en la realización de trabajos, revistas propias de esta línea de investigación, principales temas estudiados y enfoques epistemológicos, entre otras variables consideradas.
This article focuses on the theoretical frame of action research and the teacher as researcher, working through a Norwegian Research Council-funded project in a school that explored learning ...strategies for pupils' subject and social development. Action research is here called research and development (R&D) work as the term envisages that research and development are being conducted at the same time. Additionally, the term reflects the fact that the research is conducted within the framework of activity theory and Engeström's expansive learning circle in which work is termed R&D. The article describes the possibilities and challenges for both teachers and researchers cooperating in R&D projects. Reflection on observed teaching are presented as a central activity in development work, covering the form and content of reflective dialogues; quotations from teachers are provided to show how the teachers experienced observation and reflection. The article discusses whether teachers become researchers, or whether they only develop in their role as teachers. The close cooperation between teachers and researchers in this work is also presented as a model for further education for teachers in-service and for the training of teacher students.
