In this paper, by analyzing the deficiency and insufficient of subjects-selection in traditional graduate design, put forward to reform the process of subjects-selection in graduate thesis by ...application of web, propose an constructive programs of bidirectional subjects-selection system for graduation thesis. Bidirectional subjects-selection system for graduation thesis emphasizes the students-centered conception and is important to improve quality of graduation thesis. This software is designed specially to meet the needs of subjects-selection requirement. It's based on web and using PHP language and MYSQL database. The system has the characteristics of attractive,convenient and stable. It also has realizes shown that bidirectional subjects-selection system for graduation thesis can greatly give higher efficiency and quality than the traditional method.
This paper objectively investigates the graduation theses and graduation projects in Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics from those who have graduated 2007, with a higher emphasis on those ...who major in information management & information system. And this paper analyzes the current situations of graduation theses (projects) from two sides. One side is respective proportion of graduation theses and projects, theme choice, score. The other side is supervising teachers' educational background, professional title, teaching workload, scientific research workload, directing level and enthusiasm. All of these can provide credible evidences and methods for controlling the quality of graduation thesis and projects in information management and information system.

The questionnaire survey on Japanese engineering education was rearranged in order to analyze present status and problems in it. It had been put by the Committee for discussing on the engineering ...education program in Japan which was composed of fifteen universities with eight national universities as leaders. A hundred questions on engineering education brought about interesting results. The engineering education programs, systems and the facilities are in the progress of drastic improvement. Double major system, supplementary lesson and some similar trials, which have been popularly adopted in engineering education in U.S.A. and Europe have been not popular in Japan yet. On the other hand a professor enthusiastically supports a graduation thesis as a traditional and the most effective system for it. However, the method how a professor educates students' creativity and flexibility is shown little sign of improvement. The survey also suggests that the popularization of Japanese university will bring more complicated problems to engineering education.
