Currently, incomparable dating systems are used in archaeology, based on historical chronology, dendrochronology, and two types of radiocarbon dates: LSC and AMS. But the latter suggest, as a rule, ...the earlier dates. Contrary to this, the intervals based on the historical chronology and dendrochronology are quite comparable. And intervals obtained by means of Bayesian statistics of AMS dates are very close. The problem is also aggravated by the fact that the use of the standard typological method does not allow complexes to be synchronized accurately, since the duration of existence of some type can be different in two areas. More accurate evidence can be taken from the first appearance of any cultural complex as a result of migration. Such migrations were usually forced by natural disasters. Correspondently, the latter can be used as a chronological benchmark, that makes it possible the processes in remote areas to be connected. Basing on all this, a system of chronology of the European EBA, eastern European MBA and of the so called “2200 even” is suggested. The obtained interval became younger and shorter than those based on the radiocarbon chronology.

The article includes detailed research on the struggle for the survival, in some cases, the forced closure of certain political parties and groups in Turkey, a country with a distinctive Islamic and Western oriented society.
In this regards, this article aims to explain in detail, how the method of operation was followed, what political parties and groups have been emerged, what positions do they occupy in the political system, how did they affect social and political spheres, structure, organizational characteristics of Turkey.
The topic was selected explore the following facts and factors: at first, to show the reasons and historical circumstances of the formation of the first political party, to identify the role and places of parties in the political and social life, thirdly, to clarify the reasons for the formation of a multi-party system; Fourth, it sets out the specifics of the development of major political parties in Turkey since 1990s.

The basis for this is the chronologies of the early Shang Dynasty in China, Central Europe and the Shaft Graves of Greece. The Santorini eruption presents an opportunity to compare these chronologies. As a result, the Seima-Turbino bronzes are dated to the first half of the 17
century BC, or within the 18
century BC to the first half of the 16
century BC. This suggests that as the radiocarbon method develops, its results will be close to historical chronology.
Although numerous disciplines recognize multiple ways of conceptualizing time, Stefan Tanaka argues that scholars still overwhelmingly operate on chronological and linear Newtonian or classical time ...that emerged during the Enlightenment. This short, approachable book implores the humanities and humanistic social sciences to actively embrace the richness of different times that are evident in non-modern societies and have become common in several scientific fields throughout the twentieth century. Tanaka first offers a history of chronology by showing how the social structures built on clocks and calendars gained material expression. Tanaka then proposes that we can move away from this chronology by considering how contemporary scientific understandings of time might be adapted to reconceive the present and pasts. This opens up a conversation that allows for the possibility of other ways to know about and re-present pasts. A multiplicity of times will help us broaden the historical horizon by embracing the heterogeneity of our lives and world via rethinking the complex interaction between stability, repetition, and change. This history without chronology also allows for incorporating the affordances of digital media.
Some radiocarbon dates for ancient Egypt have been significantly offset from the established historical chronology (see
Bonani et al., 2001). In this paper, short-lived plant species collected in ...Egypt between 1700 and 1900 AD were used to investigate the possibility that the radiocarbon record had been influenced by reservoir effects. AMS radiocarbon measurements were made on 66 known-age samples, resulting in an average offset from expected values of 19 years. The implications of this minor discrepancy on the likelihood of a reservoir process are discussed, and the agreement of the data with recent models of radiocarbon seasonality is also considered.

Jed Buchwald and Mordechai Feingold reveal the manner in which Newton strove for nearly half a century to rectify universal history by reading ancient texts through the lens of astronomy, and to create a tight theoretical system for interpreting the evolution of civilization on the basis of population dynamics. It was during Newton's earliest years at Cambridge that he developed the core of his singular method for generating and working with trustworthy knowledge, which he applied to his study of the past with the same rigor he brought to his work in physics and mathematics. Drawing extensively on Newton's unpublished papers and a host of other primary sources, Buchwald and Feingold reconcile Isaac Newton the rational scientist with Newton the natural philosopher, alchemist, theologian, and chronologist of ancient history.
Studies examined the potential use of VEs in teaching historical chronology to 127 children of primary school age (8–9 years). The use of passive fly-through VEs had been found, in an earlier study, ...to be disadvantageous with this age group when tested for their subsequent ability to place displayed sequential events in correct chronological order. All VEs in the present studies included active challenge, previously shown to enhance learning in older participants. Primary school children in the UK (all frequent computer users) were tested using UK historical materials, but no significant effect was found between three conditions (Paper, PowerPoint and VE) with minimal pre-training. However, excellent (error free) learning occurred when children were allowed greater exploration prior to training in the VE. In Ukraine, with children having much less computer familiarity, training in a VE (depicting Ukrainian history) produced better learning compared to PowerPoint, but no better than in a Paper condition. The results confirmed the benefit of using challenge in a VE with primary age children, but only with adequate prior familiarisation with the medium. Familiarity may reduce working memory load and increase children’s spatial memory capacity for acquiring sequential temporal-spatial information from virtual displays.
► Primary school children (8–9 years old) can benefit from using VEs in learning historical chronology. ► Challenge has to be incorporated, to create a format like a computer game. ► Children only benefit adequately familiarized with the VE in advance. ► Familiarity may be effective because it reduces working memory load. ► Children’s frequency of computer usage was not a significant factor.
The article reviews the documents of the personal archive of S. Zaremba, the famous Ukrainian historian and regional ethnographer, director of the Center for monument studies of the NAS of Ukraine ...and the Ukrainian Society for Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments. The archive is deposited in the fonds of the Institute of Manuscript of V. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. Based on the documents, the main stages of the researcher’s scientific activity are covered. Special attention is paid to the scientist’s works, unpublished due to various circumstances of life. It is noted that S. Zaremba was occupied with the active protection and study of monuments of cultural and historical heritage of Ukraine, both within the country and abroad
