Evaluation of climate-induced crop damages is imperative to formulate innovative technologies and management strategies to reduce the vulnerability of farms and agriculture. Based on a survey of 1232 ...wheat growers from Pakistan, conducted in April and May of 2019, the study estimates the production risk of wheat farms to weather shocks and the effectiveness of physical, non-physical, and innovative management strategies for reducing crop damages. Parametric and non-parametric econometric techniques were applied to approach study objectives. The survey revealed that the adverse effects of extreme weather events on the damages to wheat crop were more significant with the rise of severe weather the closer to harvest time such damages occurred. The results of the propensity score matching (PSM) method found wheat loss when the crop experienced a severe intensity of thunderstorms, windstorms, and hailstorms. The parametric analysis confirmed that with a one-unit increase in the severity of thunderstorms, windstorms, and hailstorms the wheat yield decreased. Surprisingly, even if thunderstorms and hailstorms were rated moderate or low in severity, a significant reduction in wheat yield was found. The Mann-Whitney (MW) test showed that adaptive measures significantly reduced the amount of wheat damage. Particularly, the PSM method confirmed that the adoption of strategies such as watercourse availability, maintenance of watercourse, availability of canal/drain, sowing of stiff-stem wheat variety, plantation of a shelterbelt, and adjustment in irrigation schedule, significantly reduced wheat loss. Furthermore, education, farming experience, family size, cropping area, and access to weather forecast information significantly affected the adaptation of innovative management strategies.

The aim of the article is to study the theoretical aspects of innovation management in order to improve the efficiency of an agricultural enterprise. The article emphasizes that innovative ...development is necessary for the efficient operation of enterprise, as it contributes to ensuring competitiveness, increasing efficiency, expanding market opportunities, as well as adapting to changes in the social and economic environment. It is noted that the relevance of innovation management lies in its ability to provide enterprises with competitiveness, adaptation to changes, development of talents, use of new technologies and achievement of sustainable development. A definition of the concept of «innovation management of an agrarian enterprise» has been proposed, which is an approach to management aimed at creating and implementing innovative solutions, processes and strategies in an agricultural enterprise in order to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of an enterprise in agriculture. It is determined that innovation management in the agricultural sector can contribute to improving the efficiency of enterprise with the help of the following main components: development and implementation of new technologies; innovative approaches to production; application of new production methods; innovations in the product portfolio; development of new products or improvement of the existing ones; management of innovative projects; fostering a culture of innovation. The introduction of innovation management allows the enterprise to maintain competitiveness, meet market requirements and efficiently use resources, which as a result contributes to increasing its efficiency.

The aim of the article is to study the experience in Europe and the world for innovative public governance and views on a model of innovation management. To achieve this goal are the following tasks: 1) Overview of theoretical concepts of innovation and innovation in the public sector and types of innovation. 2) What is needed for innovation in crises? 3) Overview of the state and aspects of innovative management of the public sector in Bulgaria.

The three-part stakeholder satisfaction survey consists of the China University Student Satisfaction Scale, the China University Teacher and Staff Satisfaction Scale, and the China University Graduate Human Resources Department Satisfaction Scale. All three subscales were valid, reliable, and can be used to foster management innovation, although they require adjustments to improve their coverage of different HE environments.

The purpose of this study was to determine the success criteria for innovative management in hotel establishments that have a corporate identity in the Turkish city of Giresun as well as to find out ...the best hotel by ranking them based on the determined criteria. For the study, “Multi-objective Optimization by Simple Ratio Analysis (MOOSRA)” and “Evaluation Based on Distance from Average Solution (EDAS)” methods were used. The results revealed that the success criteria for innovative management are beneficial in increasing operational efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction. The results also show that managers are well aware of the success criteria for innovative management that should be prioritized, as well as those that are likely to lead to the success of their establishments and keep them ahead of the competition. While “Presenting an Innovative Vision” was found as the most important success criteria, “Use of In-Hotel Information Sources” came out as the least important one. The hotels considered were then ranked following the identified criteria.
Under the background of global climate change and carbon reduction commitment, it is of great significance to study the ecological value of mariculture shellfish resources. China is the largest ...country in terms of mariculture shellfish. In this study, the ecological value of mariculture shellfish in China was dynamically evaluated after determining the shellfish ecological value composition and the value calculation coefficients. On this basis, the dynamic characteristics of the mariculture shellfish ecological values during 2010–2019 were revealed, as well as the economic problems and reasons behind. The study results indicated that the average ecological value of mariculture shellfish in China showed an overall upward trend. The core values of mariculture shellfish are carbon sequestration and water purification, which displayed an increasing trend. The habitat value of mariculture shellfish showed a significant downward trend because of the reduction of aquaculture area and the increase of aquaculture density. Additionally, the increase in the heavy metal enrichment value was due to the rising production of mariculture shellfish and the rising price of processing heavy metals in China. Therefore, innovative management policies were proposed including introducing a third-party independent consultant, building a carbon-sink shellfish demonstration zone, improving a carbon-sink market transaction mechanism, establishing a nitrogen credit market, and controlling the full-cycle management of mariculture shellfish based on biotechnology and blockchain technology. It was hoped to promote the healthy development of the mariculture shellfish industry and make China's contribution to the world's carbon emission reduction.

As a pivotal subject within the realm of agriculture, the transformation of agricultural enterprises has been progressively capturing extensive attention from scholars and decision-makers alike. In ...order to understand the research hotspots and trends in the field of agricultural enterprise transformation, a comprehensive analysis was conducted employing Citespace software, utilizing the Web of Science Core Collection as the primary data source. This multidimensional investigation encompassed diverse aspects such as publishing countries, research institutions, publishing journals, subject categories, most cited journals, most cited papers, keyword co-occurrence, keyword clustering, and keyword burst. The synthesis of these analyses yielded a comprehensive overview of research hotspots and developmental trends in the field of agricultural enterprise transformation and development. The findings indicate an ascending trend in the annual paper publications within the agricultural enterprise transformation and development field. The countries contributing most significantly to publications include the People’s Republic of China, the United States, Italy, Spain, and Australia. Notably, the journal “Sustainability” featured the highest publications. Keywords with substantial frequency of occurrence encompass “Innovation”, “Performance”, “Impact”, “Management” and “Sustainability”. The identified research hotspots could be synthesized into two main thematic categories: “Sustainable Development and Innovation” and “Agricultural Innovation Development and Policy”. Foreseeably, the forthcoming trajectory of research within agricultural enterprise transformation and development is likely to focus on sustainable development and innovation management of agricultural enterprises.
This paper combines the actual situation of security management in colleges and universities, and analyzes the demand for security innovative management platform in colleges and universities to ...facilitate teachers and students to live happily and research in a comfortable and modernized campus. According to the different functionality, the innovative campus system can be divided into the 3D campus roaming navigation module based on VR technology, the intelligent attendance module based on the combination of convolutional neural network and face recognition, and the induced parking module based on ant colony algorithm. The structure of each module and the operation process are all described in detail. Simulation experiment analysis is used empirically to analyze the intelligent campus management platform. The results show that the method of this paper has an average pass rate of about 89.55% for a given number of vehicles, and compared with the pre-optimization period, the waiting time for parking has been reduced by 19.5%, with an optimization rate range of 72.37%. Even after the optimization of the method in this paper can not wholly avoid the parking wait, but it can reduce the parking wait time, which for the parking lot, can ease the parking congestion in the peak time. The theoretical guidance provided by this study is used to construct a more brilliant campus, promoting the development of security and intelligent management in colleges and universities.
