Na temelju terenskih istraživanje i podataka iz dostupne literature smatramo da su urušene jame na području Borojevića i Mečenčana nastale na dva načina. Najviše ih je nastalo uslijed likvefakcije ...tla koju su izazvali potresi, a manji dio je nastao djelovanjem sufozije koja je uslijedila nakon izgradnje velikog vodocrpilišta „Pašino vrelo“. Na kraju je dan prijedlog kako se može spriječiti postanak novih jama. Slijedom aktualnih događanja i mogućih posljedica, analizirane su pedološke značajke i oštećenja poljoprivrednog zemljišta na području urušenih jama. Na kraju, preporučamo agromelioracjske mjere za formiranje i racionalno korištenje novog produktivnog površinskog sloja tla okućnica, obradivih tala i travnjaka.
Based on field research and data from the available literature, we believe that the collapsed holes in the area of Borojević and Mečenčani were formed in two ways. Most of them were caused by the liquefaction of the soil caused by earthquakes, and a smaller part was caused by the action of suffusion that followed the construction of a large water pumping station at Pašino vrelo. Finally, a suggestion was made on how to prevent the formation of new collapsed holes. Following current events and possible consequences, we analyze the pedological characteristics and damage of agricultural land in the area of collapsed holes. Finally, we recommend agro-ameliorative measures for the formation and rational use of a new productive soil surface layer of garden, arable land and grassland.
The human being who is a civilian entity and lives in the community is forced to interact with others, and major part of this interaction is through actions that are objective, tangible, and ...understandable. It is a natural that due to the sense of need to be loved and praised, humans attempt to perform verbs and actions in the normal conditions that are considered by others. It is due to the fact that in the study of the thought and way of life of Sheikh Baha'i, ethics and ethical dignity in human existence is one of the gates of spirituality. From the viewpoint of the Islamic scholars, especially Mulla Sadra, human in his own being and survival cannot be satisfied to his nature and to be needless from others; because his kind is not unique to a particular person, he cannot live in the world, except through civilization and community and co-operation. Over the years, sociologists have consistently emphasized this view that the most important feature of the modern world is rationality. And this is while rationality, alone and without reliance on religion and ethics is not able to reform society and solve the basic problems of social life of humans due to cases such as the domination of sensual desires upon practical reason, the ignorance of man and his social relations, the use of modern societies from the teachings of religion, and the ignorance of real life of man and the reduction of life to material life. In this article, tried to be investigated the influence of the belief in the concepts and themes of the verses in practical ethics and behavior, one of the great scholars of Islam i.e. Mohammad bin Hossein Ameli, known as Sheikh Baha'I and the effect of morality on his ethics, with an overview in the jurisprudential and law context of Jame Abbasi to be discussed and investigated. This research seeks to determine whether the foundations of religious ethics are capable of solving community problems.
Abd Allah ibn Abbas is a grand companion of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and one of the pioneers in exegesis. With regard to his emphasis on seeking knowledge especially learning exegesis from Imam Ali ...(PBUH) and also the scholars’ mention on this point when explaining his status in exegesis, this article explores the extent of correspondence between his exegetic traditions and the those of Ahl al-Bayt with emphasis on Jame’ al-Bayan Tabari and Noor ath-Thaqlayn Howayzi using library research method and statistical analysis. The results showed that in 80 percent of the traditions, there is either total correspondence or semi correspondence between their traditions through relations such as general-specific, absolute-bounded, and clear-ambiguous. This correspondence exists in different fields including Kalami, Fiqhi, and literary, as well as in subjects such as non-visibility of God, legitimacy of Nikah Mut’ah (temporary marriage), permissible authorization and so on. Document analysis also revealed that most of this correspondence exists in the method of Sa’iid ibn Jobayr, Ali ibn Abi Talheh, Zahhak ibn Mozahem, Ata’, and Mujahid. As a means of communication among different peoples and nations, written script is of significance since it passes down thoughts to future generations and affects the development of civilization and ...culture. According to researchers, Kufic script has marked the beginning of inscriptions in the Islamic buildings and has developed over time; as a result, new types of Kufic script have been created. Many studies have been conducted on Islamic art, but a little attention has been paid to the careful and thorough analysis of Kufic script and its morphology. The present study has completed the script types that have been introduced by past researchers and identified the sub-types. To the researcher, there is a direct relationship between the shape of Kufic inscription and the style of buildings (Razi and Azari). Therefore, the main purpose of the present study is to identify the morphology of Kufic inscriptions in Jame Mosques of Isfahan under the two styles of Razi and Azari.This study was first to classify Kufic inscriptions in mosques and minarets located in Isfahan in terms of shape morphology.The research method is descriptive, comparative and analytical. The data have been obtained through field and library research. The results indicate that simple Kufic script has two sub-types, which are distinguishable according to the ending shape of such long letters as “لا” and “الف”.Ornamental Kufic script also has four major types: ‘simple’, ‘complex’, ‘knotted’ and ‘rotating’.The knotted type has itself two sub-types with ‘recurring’ and ‘contrasting’ patterns. According to the results, moreover, Bannai script has at least six types in terms of shape and distribution (‘simple with equal space’, ‘ragged’, ‘knotted’, ‘frame-dependent’, ‘tangled’ and ‘mother-child’). Also, each type has usually been divided into some sub-types. The present study, moreover, has investigated the samples as to their design, background, material, color and location.

Despite cultural heritage has being affected by construction and infrastructure projects associated with urban development in historic cities worldwide, protection of such irreplaceable assets and their associated values has not been adequately addressed through a comprehensive methodology of impact assessment. This paper aims to review the existing methodologies, approaches, and tools regarding Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) methodology, and to develop an impact assessment procedure in the context of new urban development. The methodology is applied to the case of Masjed-e Jame of Isfahan. The required data is collected through a fieldwork for identification and classification of impacts of Atiq project on the property. Subsequently, the collected data is analysed through impact assessment matrix, and eventually, appropriated mitigation strategies to reduce negative impacts on the property are determined. The proposed impact assessment methodology in the HIA procedure provides a systematic framework for identifying, assessing and mitigating potential impacts of new urban development on cultural heritage properties, which is supportive for urban planners, cultural decision makers, heritage conservators and experts toward developing more integrated approach to heritage protection in context of sustainable development.

Islamic philosophers believed that motion was related toperfection and has an aim to pursue that been subject to the principle of potential and action.According to MullaSadra theory ofSubstantial Movement, the material existence through its constant movement toward the spiritual presence, by passing through the realms of sensibility, imagination andrationality, is achieved through the true perception of the world.The research methodology is qualitative particularly analytical-descriptive one and with an interpretive approach, the research strategy is a case study. Through analyzing the perceptual experience of the observer in themosque of Tabriz, this research views the implication of movement and perception inboth philosophy and architecture.From the main findings of the study, there is a significant correlation between the steps toward perfection from the body to the soul in acquiring knowledge based on the philosophy of Substantial Movement and the stages of experiential perception of space from material to meaning in Islamic architecture.With thecreation of a particular spiritual environment, Islamic architects of Iran have always provided a place for theobserver's inner discovery and intuition, and according to its fluiditycharacteristics, the perceptual experience of the observer was guidedfrom the lowest to its highest.
E.A. Martel (1859-1938) is rightly regarded as one of the most important people in the history of cave study. Writing in French, as he did, his work was little known in those parts of central Europe ...that were in the Austrian empire. Thus much of what he wrote about the Classical Karst was not readily accessible to those now living in that area. It is for that reason that this English translation of his 1894 publication has been made. Martel had been in Slovenia from 14 September 1893 to mid October. He was shown the principal caves and karst features of the region by Wilhelm Putick who had been exploring these places from 1886 onwards. This assistance had been authorised by Count Falkenhayn, the Minister of Agriculture in Wien. Such was the importance with which Martel was regarded internationally.
Historical air temperatures at three karst caves in Slovenia have been compared to current data time series. In Postojnska Jama (PJ), the most visited show cave in Slovenia, the significant ...temperature difference between historical and modern measurements at the Pulpito site relates to the months April to November. Mean monthly temperatures measured at the Sepolcro site (PJ) in the modern period (2016–2019) are year round significantly higher than in the historical period (1935–1937). The temperature increase over the last 85 years in PJ is attributed to outside temperature rise and additional heat input from visitors, especially for Sepolcro site. A comparison of current (2017–2019) and historical (1956–1957) temperature data in touristically poorly visited Predjama Cave shows lower increase as in PJ and is completely related to outside cave conditions. In the case of Škocjanske Jame (Tiha Jama), air temperature has not significantly increased since the historical 1928 measurements because the monitoring site looks to be morphologically isolated from significant impacts of outside climate and visitors.

international relations scholars over the past decade, yet the
question still remains: Just how does it matter? In this book,
George Downs ...and David Rocke argue that an important part of the
international impact of domestic politics springs from the
institutional responses to its many uncertainties. This impact is
due not so much to the errors in judgment these uncertainties can
cause as to the strategic and institutional consequences of knowing
that such errors are possible. The heart of the book is its formal
analysis of how three kinds of domestic uncertainty have shaped
international relations through their influence on three very
different institutions. One chapter deals with the decision rules
that citizens create to cope with uncertainty about the quality of
their representation, and how these can lead to the paradoxical
"gambling for resurrection" effect. Another chapter describes the
extent to which the weak enforcement provisions of GATT can be
understood as a mechanism to cope with uncertain but intermittent
interest group demands for protection. The third chapter looks at
the impact of uncertainty on the creation, survival, and membership
of multilateral regulatory institutions, such as the Montreal
Protocol and EU, when some states question the capacity of other
states to meet their treaty obligations.
This is a very dull book. Like a dictionary, it contains only facts: facts that are not readily to be found elsewhere. People who are important in the study of caves and karst are known for what they ...did, what they wrote and whom they influenced. But as individuals they are often no more than a name. They may perhaps be recognized for other aspects, as a King perhaps, or a novelist or a famous doctor. Some, like Darwin or Freud, have changed the world in other ways~but very many had only normal quiet lives during which they also explored, studied or wrote about caves. It is they whose wider lives are difficult to trace and it is 4634 of them who are recorded here, with information from birth certificates, obituaries, unpublished letters and mentions by other people. It is their wider lives that help to show them as real people. In some cases their interest in caves was a part of their professional lives. In many others it provides stimulation and relaxation in otherwise busy lives. But in every case it was the same person and the same brain that enjoyed both~and it was both that made them the people they were. It is only from the biographical sources recorded here, that each person can be understood.
