Abstract Research in Didactics of Mathematics has highlighted the importance of including modelling for the teaching of this subject. In 2021, this trend coexisted with the return to face-to-face teaching, suspended by the COVID-19 pandemic. Given this situation, it is relevant to study which aspects of the teaching and learning process prospective teachers related to mathematical modelling in their reflections on its inclusion during the transition period between the virtual and face-to-face teaching contexts. To this end, we used the Didactic Suitability Criteria construct, proposed by the Onto-Semiotic Approach. This is qualitative research of a naturalistic type, since we did not interfere in the Master’s Programme for Mathematics Teacher Education in study. We conducted a content analysis on 117 Master’s Degree Final Projects submitted during the 2020–2021 academic year and implemented during the return to face-to-face teaching. We highlight the following results: (a) about 35% of the future teachers stated that they implemented modelling in their didactic units and reflected on its inclusion; (b) on their reflections, the future teachers positively assessed the inclusion of modelling based on the epistemic and ecological suitability criteria; (c) almost 65% of the future teachers did not implement modelling, and we rule out that it was due to a lack of knowledge about this process or of a favourable context for modelling, but because they prioritised other aspects of the mathematical teaching and learning process, due to the return to face-to-face teaching.
Research practice as a component of the educational programs of the specialty «Philology» at the master's degree in higher education is analyzed, namely its place in the system of specialists' ...research skills formation. Descriptions of 80 educational programs for the preparation of masters in philology, introduced in 2019-2022 in six universities of Ukraine, were analyzed, particularly the presence of practice(s), which correlates with the defined purpose of these programs from the point of view of the masters' scientific and research skills formation. It was found that some educational programs don't include this kind of practice. The existing practices have various names not only in different universities but also in the same one; some of the names do not reflect the essence of this practice as scientific and research (production, pre-diploma, etc.). It has been proved that research practice should be a compulsory component of the master's educational programs in philology. The purpose of such practice should be subordinated to the broader task of forming the research competence of the philologist, taking into account the professional suitability of the future specialist, which is not limited to teaching philological disciplines in secondary or higher education. The content of the philological master's practice should be consistent both with the standard of higher education in philology for obtaining the master's degree and with the description of a specific educational program. The volume in ECTS credits (in some programs also the duration) of practice(s) has been clarified. It is suggested to conduct this practice in the middle of the curriculum – for educational and scientific programs at the end of the second semester or after it; so that the practice becomes a connecting link between the studied theoretical courses and future independent research, especially a master's thesis.

Aims and objectives
This study aimed to implement cluster analysis of self‐concept and job satisfaction to identify subgroups in nurses with master's degree and explore the associations of turnover ...intention with characteristics among these clusters.
Design
A cross‐sectional study adhering to the Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology (STROBE).
Methods
A convenience sample of 408 nurses with master's degree in China filled out the survey from 19 November 2019 to 30 December 2019. A sociodemographic questionnaire, the Nurses’ Self‐Concept Questionnaire (NSCQ), Job Satisfaction Scale (JSS) and Turnover Intention Questionnaire (TIQ) were adopted to collect the data. K‐means cluster analysis was implemented on the R software, and data were analysed using SPSS 24.0.
Results
Three subgroups were identified based on cluster analysis of NSCQ and JSS subscales in 405 nurses (99.3%) available for statistical analysis, among whom 30.9%, 17% and 48.1% were allocated to these clusters respectively. Turnover intention significantly differed among the three clusters, with cluster 2 having the highest turnover intention and cluster 1 having the lowest turnover intention. Working department, position, professional title, clinical nurse specialist and annual income were factors differentiating TIQ scores in each cluster.
Conclusions
This study identified three clusters of nurses with master's degree and showed that each cluster was associated with the level of turnover intention. The unique characteristics of the three clusters may be also helpful in identifying and providing specific managerial or social support to reduce turnover rates in nurses with master's degree.
Relevance to clinical practice
Cluster analysis is s an unsupervised machine learning method to identify meaningful subgroups within heterogeneous population based on variables distributions and patterns underlying in the data set. Through clustering, nurses with multi‐dimensional characteristics could be allocated into subgroups associated with turnover intention. As a result, nursing managers could provide approaches for each subgroup to reduce turnover intention.
New master's degrees in computer engineering, designed according to Spanish government requirements, include both technical and business subjects to provide advanced knowledge compared to ...undergraduate studies. In spite of acquiring this advanced knowledge, our students are not always aware of the significant added value and the positive elements the master's degree provides for their future professional careers. Moreover, we have observed that students regard the different subjects as isolated blocks of knowledge. To tackle these problems, we have carried out a learning experience based on the creation of a technology-based enterprise (TBE) through the development of a common project (CP). Drawing on project-based learning (PBL) methodology, the CP consists of the identification, development, and final oral presentation of a business model. It aims to utilize sensor data and analysis in different domains. The experience has been highly positive, reducing the gap between studies and business practice, and increasing coordination among teachers. A key issue is that all the subjects of the master's degree are involved in this learning experience. In addition, results show a high level of satisfaction with the master's degree, compared to other similar courses.
International students have the potential to contribute significantly to host countries through cultural enrichment, economic growth, and human capital development. However, their successful ...integration into the host society is crucial to realise these benefits. By applying the framework of the two-way integration process from acculturation theory, this study examines the employment integration of international students in Finland, a non-native English-speaking country. Our semi-structured, qualitative in-depth interviews identify several key challenges encountered by international students, including limited information about the labour market, unfamiliarity with recruitment practices, a lack of industry connections, communication gaps from recruiting companies, and host country language barriers. We provide recommendations to organisations and recruiters on how to embrace diversity in their recruitment processes, as well as suggestions to universities on how to better support international students’ transition into the workforce of the host country.
