Drawing on extensive multi-archival research in the British, American and Gulf archives, this book illuminates a series of negotiations between British diplomats and the Gulf rulers that inadvertently led Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE to take their current shapes. Najprej sta z izvirnim prospektom GO in GO, ki sta ga pripravili Medobčinska Gospodarska zbornica za Severno Primorsko in Pokrajinska turistična ustanova iz Gorice v Italiji, uokvirili prostor, ki ga skupaj ponujata. Pravzaprav pravi podvig, saj gre za prvi skupni meddržavni turistični prospekt. Prvi vzorec, kako idejo skupnega meddržavnega turističnega nastopa oživiti, sta že pripravili turistični agenciji obmejnih mest – več dnevna popotovanja skozi italijanska in jugoslovanska mesta od Alp do Jadrana.
