This study aims to understand the mutual relationship between teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes. The site of this research is SMA NU 01 Al-Hidayah Kendal. This research uses ...a qualitative case study approach, where the researcher tries to understand the meaning behind the phenomena that occur in the field through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the mutual relationship built by the school to make teachers and parents more intimate in improving student learning outcomes was carried out through careful and systematic planning by involving all school parties to obtain optimal results. The planning carried out then carried out optimally and carried out jointly by the school with a mutualistic symbiotic principle and continued with an evaluation with the principle of continuous improvement.
Delays and conflicts (D&Cs) are adversely affecting the performance of construction projects. They have separately been addressed by many authors but the mutual relationship among them is still a key ...grey area. Therefore, this study aims to explore this hidden relationship. Literature was reviewed to identify the previous ranking of D&Cs causes to develop a global ranking and to explore other hidden aspects of mutual relationships. Data were classified through Jenks optimization that resulted in the identification of, the top five causes of D&Cs in a global perspective and commonality among them. Among the top five identified global causes of D&Cs, the common causes are; (1) financial problems on behalf of the owner, (2) Change orders/ Variations, and (3) Lack of communication/ Poor relationship. Such exploration of hidden relationships among D&Cs will not only improve construction management strategies but will also define new pathways for future research to secure project success parameters.
The virtual water trade network that comes along with commodities trade has become increasingly critical for achieving sustainable development goals in the hydropenic and populous China. However, its ...holistic patterns, temporal dynamic and interrelation associated with complex interactions among regions and sectors have rarely been systematically characterized. Here, we constructed a transboundary and intersectoral virtual water trade network for China and applied MRIO model with newly developed time-series datasets (2002–2017) that derived from an internally consistent approach to capture its panorama, dynamic characteristics, driving factors and mutual relationship. Results show that China's total virtual water embodied in trade has increased by approximately 64% during the studied period primarily due to the rapid increasing demand; whilst the figure has decreased by nearly 4% in 2012–2017 contributed by the optimization of production structure and improvement of water use efficiency. The most prominent strand by sector was always the flow from Agriculture to Food, and the remarkable growth was observed in Construction resulting from their enhancive demands. Furthermore, the flows from Xinjiang and Heilongjiang to the Yangtze River Delta gradually dominated, and the three largest urban agglomerations have absorbed extensive virtual water for meeting their demands along with their vast population and diversified consumptions. The relationship in sectoral networks tended to be more mutual benefit, while in regional networks cooperative and competitive relationships increase simultaneously. Finally, we proposed some policy suggestions to take advantages of virtual water theory.
•Holistic patterns and temporal dynamics of virtual water from 2002 to 2017 were detected.•Virtual water flow decreased 4% from 2012 to 2017 due to production restructure.•Significant virtual water in the construction sector could not be neglected.•The competitive relationship between Xinjiang and other regions is intensifying.
This paper presents part of a wider research project, focusing on the view of corporeality, which was presented by selected Christian churches through church documents and commentaries in church ...newspapers during the period from 1917 to 1970 in the Czech lands. The view on corporeality was deduced from the churches’ view of body and soul and their mutual relationship, as well as from their attitude to activities that are focused primarily on the development of the physical aspect of man, consequently on sport and physical exercise, and also to the world in its materialistic form in general. The applied research methods were: the discourse-historical approach and hermeneutics. Five essential discourses were identified that construct the view on corporeality: the discourse of givenness; the discourse of acquired construct; the national discourse; the discourse of instrument; and the discourse of non-fulfilment. Within their framework, four so-called cross-sectional discourses were identified: freedom – bondage; unity – discord; fragment – whole; spiritual – material. The paper‘s findings suggest that the selected churches approach the body and soul dualistically, yet they should be not put in an antagonistic but in a congruent relation. The presented empirical research uncovered a view on corporeality that has not yet been expressed in specialist literature or any research carried out, as it dealt with the view of Christian churches on corporeality.

Indigenous science (IS) is becoming a topical area of interest for most Afro-centric researchers. The areas of concern include the undervalued status of IS and its contribution to the development of modern science (MS) in developing countries and specifically on how the two knowledge paradigms relate to and define one another in practice and whether their relationships are mutual and equitable. The discussion in this article was guided by the generic post-colonial lens and used the integrative research review method. The article examined various studies to determine the role of “IS” in developing MS. Apart from highlighting the analytical relationship between the two knowledge systems and its implications in the practice of MS, the article suggests some promising ways to promote the role of IS in the realm of MS and describes the uncertain relationship between the two knowledge paradigms.
During the recovery process following a massive earthquake in Italy, the construction of provisional housing and the restoration of historical centers were conducted by establishing relationships ...between diverse actors. In this study, we clarify the characteristics of the established processes of reconstruction governance (RG) at L’Aquila city. We identify the mutual relationships (MR) between the established processes of RG and implemented process of the reconstruction project (RP). First, a literature survey was conducted on the six phases of the reconstruction process, based on both government-led initiative and civic/professional-associations-university-led initiative. Second, the characteristics of RG protocols employed during the six phases were revealed by visualizing the RG protocol during each phase. Third, the characteristics of the implemented RP process were revealed by overlaying three types of RP in the historical center and its surrounding territory. Moreover, the MR between established RG processes and the implemented process of RP were explored, and the following four MRs were revealed: 1) The MR between established RG processes and the implementation process of cooperative restoration projects through foundation of a special office for restoration project maintenance was revealed. This MR led to extending the range of the RP from the fringe of the city walls to the historical center. 2) The MR between established RG processes and the implementation process of the cultural heritage maintenance project by recognition changes of civic association was revealed. This MR led to diversifying RG to establish agreements about the cooperative maintenance of the city wall to extend the range of the RP from the wall gate to the overall city walls and extend the type of RP to include cooperative maintenance and utilization. 3) The MR between established RG processes and the implemented process of public space improvement by project adoption and citizen participation was revealed. This MR led to developing RG as a collaborative system that included a civic association consortium, municipal government, the parish community, and a citizen territorial council. 4) The MR between established RG processes and the implemented process of walkway maintenance caused by village networking was revealed. This MR led to developing RG as a cooperative system that included a civic association and village autonomous association at different stages, to extend the range of the RP and to include the surrounding territory to the historical center. Finally, our findings led to three important recommendations as follows: 1) The diversification and continuous strengthening of RG is required. Through construction of diverse RG in a recovery process, the type and range of RG is going to expand, and then that expansion will broaden the diversification of RG. To continue this MR, the RG is required to be diversified and to be strengthened continuously. 2) The early foundation of an intermediary support association is required, such as Urban Center L’Aquila, as an RG platform for coordinating the diverse actors involved in the recovery process after a huge natural disaster. By doing so, problems can be shared, and projects can be designed by diverse actors; moreover, a new governance system should be established according to specific RP objectives. 3) An expanded public offering project is required to encourage civic participation. By doing so, we can promote the RP in across historical centers and their surrounding territories.
Unlike other principles of criminal procedure (such as legality, presumption of innocence, etc.), the principle of dispositivity (the principle of autonomy of the will of a participant in the ...proceedings) does not have an independent legal formula, enshrined in a separate article in the current criminal procedure legislation of Azerbaijan. In this regard, questions about the existence, concept, content, individual elements, manifestations, and scope of the principle are becoming relevant and at the same time highly disputable. The author aims to determine the essence of dispositivity, to consider its individual manifestations, as well as to develop scientifically sound recommendations for optimizing the application in practice of the norms of the Code of Criminal Procedure in regulating issues related to the dispositive basis of the criminal process. The set goals predetermined solution for such basic issues as study of the philosophical and legal concept of dispositivity; determination of determinants-manifestations of dispositivity in criminal proceedings as a whole; recognition of dispositivity as one of the autonomous principles of the modern criminal process of Azerbaijan. The study was conducted by methods of dialectical cognition based on the principles of reflection, comprehensiveness, unity of induction and deduction, determinism, contradiction, and unity of analysis and synthesis. The author has studied and summarized a great deal of doctrinal material and jurisprudence, and some selected judicial acts have been used as real models for casuistry of the issues addressed in the article. As a result of the study, the author substantiates that, despite the absence of an independent article in the CPC on this principle, dispositivity is an autonomous principle of criminal procedure, not covered by other principles; on the contrary, it enters into various correlative relations with them. In other words, the Code of Criminal Procedure does not provide a binding feature of the principle of criminal procedure. As the main determinants of the principle under study, the author proposes to consider a system of procedural rights of non-governmental participants in the proceedings that have the effect of initiating some kind of proceedings, and the consent of a participant category, which is a mandatory condition in the procedural decision-making mechanism of entities with power.
This article aims to show the mutual relationship between humans and nature that influence to heal mental and physical of human that shown on The Secret Garden written by Frances Hudgson Burnett and ...Sarongge by Tosca Santoso. The mutual relationship described by the two authors is also related to social events and natural conditions in the early 20th century in England and early 21st century in Indonesia. We might realize that the main function of literature is not only to entertain but also to teach us how important nature to humans. In this case, the researchers use qualitative methods and apply eco-criticism to explain how close the relationship between nature and humans in the novels. Using these English and Indonesian novels, the researchers criticize how human behavior preserves the nature that is present in both novels and compared to the reality that occurs. The findings is it reflects the mutual relationship between humans and nature that can heal mental and physical. However, it is irrelevant to the reality with the history of the environment that occurs is excessive exploitation of nature and has a negative impact on humans. Hereby builds the reader's awareness of the importance of nature for human survival, especially on mental and physical health.
