The epigraph on the hand of Irulegi was discovered in the excavation campaign of the Irulegi town in the summer of 2021 by the team of archaeologists from the Aranzadi Science Society, led by Mattin ...Aiestaran. The official presentation of the piece to society and the media took place on November 14, 2022 in Aranguren with the intervention of the President of the Government of Navarra, María Chivite, after analytical verifications and a first epigraphic assessment by Javier Velaza and Joaquín Gorrochategui. By September 2022, the content of the text that Aranzadi published in the informative book Irulegi was drafted.

The study of the Lampung script's forms and variations in ancient manuscripts is a branch of linguistics concerned with the script's evolution. We made observations on the Lampung script on two ...ancient manuscripts, the NLP97N69 and the Hahiwang. Both manuscripts are housed separately. The NLP97N69 manuscript was found in Indonesia, whereas the Hahiwang in Germany. A philological and paleographic approach was adopted to investigate the Lampung script's forms and variations in the ancient manuscripts. Both manuscripts were examined in conjunction with a presentation of the scriptwriter's Lampung script. After raising the Lampung script, it was compared to the current script and Van der Tuuk's script table. Discrepancies were found out between the characters in the two manuscripts, the contemporary script, and Van der Tuuk's table. Furthermore, the gha script was found out to be unique to the NLP97N69 manuscript. It was created in an attempt to meet the needs of Lampung language users who desired a unique script that incorporated the gha sound. This study demonstrates that the Lampung script has evolved and changed over time in response to its users' needs. Additionally, the article discusses the implications and future directions for research.
This contribution suggests a new reading for a verb that appears in the Luxor versions (L1 and L2) of the Qadesh-Bulletin (B 28). It is based on a lexicographical study and explains the different ...writings in the two versions. The subsequent discussion of the passage and its role in the Qadesh programme as a whole confirms the new reading.
Neste texto, apresentamos algumas notas para a construção de um panorama do ensino de Paleografia no Brasil - tema bastante pouco explorado em textos científicos nacionais -, em nível de graduação, ...pós-graduação e cursos livres, conhecidos comumente como oficinas de Paleografia. Além disso, dada a ausência de bibliografia específica sobre o ensino de Paleografia em português, também é nosso objetivo ampliar a divulgação de métodos estrangeiros, que pouco circulam no Brasil. Por fim, a partir de um diagnóstico realizado com base em uma amostra de oficinas presenciais de Paleografia, elaboramos uma proposta sobre estratégias de leitura de textos manuscritos.
