The attitudes of both the youth and adults towards life as a whole
and towards different manifestations and dimensions of human existence, are
all important subjects of psychological and sociological ...research. What it concerns
is a subjective image of one’s own life that is formed in consciousness of
the studied groups’ representatives stemming from the sum of their life experiences:
positive and negative, internal and external, subjective and objective.
The article presents the results of sociological research on the meaning of
life in the awareness of Polish youth. The following three issues are discussed:
the frequency of reflecting upon the meaning of life, the one’s sense of life’s
meaning and life satisfaction, as well as the sense of life’s meaningless. In the
light of empirical data, the generalised existential awareness of young Poles
could be described as quite ambivalent, as if on the fence between life’s meaningfulness
and meaninglessness. Only about a half of Polish youth declares
that life indeed has a meaning to them and provides them with a sense of
satisfaction.

The technique of pedagogical modeling is reasonably considered in education as a promising direction of the development of theoretical and practical knowledge. Modeling involves not only the creation ...of a theoretically based model of future professional development, but also a practical justification, confirmation of the functioning of the created model. Modeling professional mobility of a future officer of a military university is of practical interest not only in the pedagogical field, but is also determined by the tasks of national development and national security of the Russian state in the short term. An unambiguous determination of the algorithm for the formation of all components of the professional mobility of a military specialist includes the development of personal and social professional mobility. The structure of the model, proposed in this article, was formed as a result of the generalization of modern theoretical knowledge, as well as experimental research, based on the leading military universities of Russia.
The article deals with the problem of artistic image creating in the students’ creative works as a productive source of an artistic-pedagogical development of the future teacher artist. An artistic ...image is the basis of any art form and occupies the leading part in the artwork as it has a vast and significant esthetic value, demonstrating the result of an artist life experience display. The analysis of the theoretical sources, university training internship and the process of creative works fulfillment in different art forms brought to light the undervaluation of the necessity of scientifically grounded pedagogical grounds creation which will allow to the utmost prepare the students to the artistic image creating. This determines the relevance of the ways developing of students’ readiness to create an artistic image and its implementation in creative activities.

The paper presents a theoretical analysis of approaches to the definition of the concept of “psychological and pedagogical” conditions in educational institutions for shaping the moral-value field of ...students. The attention of educators and psychologists to the problem of the presence of the necessary conditions conducive to the formation and development of the personality of students has led to the fact that this concept is studied from different points of view, makes it possible to highlight certain characteristics, to get away from the parameters of uncertainty in the scientific and practical aspects. Today, every educational organization is obliged to create conditions conducive to the shaping a personality, spiritual and moral values, socialization of the younger generation. The theoretical analysis of this concept enables to determine and to highlight the most effective conditions in the future, to compare the degree of their effectiveness among the selected ones.

The COVID-19 pandemic threw into sharp relief – and in some ways sharpened – existing structural inequalities, both within academia, and in the broader social systems within which it operates. ...However, the pandemic, and the ensuing disruption of university operations, offer opportunities for embracing a fresh vision of the role of media studies, and for reorgan- ising how we do our work. Critical scholars have previously explored the tensions inherent within our current model of media education, including the ideological space inhabited by media studies. This paper offers a political economic analysis of some of the ways in which we can use this moment of reshape media studies education in a positive manner.
The article clarifies the importance of self-organization and self-development for the professional activity of a teacher in the context of the fourth industrial revolution from the standpoint of ...competence-based and analytical approaches. The reasonableness of the general formulation of a single “Self-organization and self-development” competence in the Russian Federation Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education is shown. The article describes the empirical study results of the peculiarities of understanding by pedagogical university students separately the competences of self-organization and self-development, as important factors of their general professional expertise. The novelty of the research is based on the identification of motivational, cognitive, and activity components. It was revealed that the highest generalized mean values were obtained for the cognitive and motivational components of the future teachers’ ideas about professional self-development, self-organization and the achievement of professional expertise. The lowest mean values were obtained for the action-oriented component. The obtained results of empirical research can be used in the development of training courses, aimed at increasing the level of students’ competences in this area.
A social reintegration programme is a set of activities conducted for the benefit of socially excluded, marginalised people who cannot find their place in the
surrounding reality. Prisoners in ...correctional institutions and people addicted to
psychoactive substances are most often included in such programmes. In order to
help them find their place in a new reality, programmes and institutions conducting such activities are being established. This article looks at the meaning of social
reintegration programmes for people addicted to drugs and alcohol.
