This article presents some ethical, theoretical and methodological assumptions that recognize academic research as an ethical bet on care for oneself. Following the intellectual itinerary of Michel ...Foucault the article approaches the path that the philosopher takes through Greek and Roman antiquity in which he recognizes experiences of subjectivation linked to an ethic of care for oneself. Foucault recognizes a shift from the relationship of subjectivity and truth in Antiquity to that of Modern morals which, from the sciences of men, recognizes the knowledge of oneself, the one linked to identity, as capable of establishing the truth about the subjects. This knowledge as capable of fixing and naturalizing the modes of existence, modes of subjectivation that has as reference the ideal subject of knowledge. From the approach to the Greeks and Romans, Foucault recognizes other experiences of subjectivation, another regime of the subject's relationship with truth, in which subject and truth are not bound by the outside (as for example in that relationship prescribed by scienceand Christianity), but by a stylistic of existence. In view of this, we raise some clues about the possibilities of thinking about research processes as an ethical bet of care for oneself, where academic research is recognized as the effect of the affections produced in the meetings and not on the contrary as defend some rationalities that start from the assumptions that researcher and research are distinct products and it is possible to establish neutrality between both.
Este artigo apresenta alguns pressupostos éticos, teóricos e metodológicos que reconhecem a pesquisa acadêmica como uma aposta ética do cuidado de si. Seguindo o itinerário intelectual de Michel Foucault,o artigo aproxima-sedo percurso que o filósofo faz pelaAntiguidade gregae romana em queconstataexperiências de subjetivação ligadas a uma ética decuidado de si. Foucault observa umdeslocamento entre a relação de subjetividade e verdade da Antiguidade com adamoral Moderna que,a partir das ciências dos homens,concebeoconhecimento de si, aquele atrelado à identidade, comocapaz de instaurar a verdade sobre os sujeitos. Esse conhecimento como capaz de fixar e naturalizar os modos de existir, modos de subjetivação que têm como referência o sujeito ideal de conhecimento. A partir daaproximação com os gregos e romanos,Foucaultobservaoutras experiências de subjetivação, outro regime de relação do sujeito com a verdade, em que sujeito e verdade não estão vinculados pelo exterior (como,por exemplo,aquela prescrita pela ciência e pelo cristianismo), mas por uma estilística de existência. Diante disso,levantamos algumas pistas sobre as possibilidades de pensarmos osprocessos de pesquisacomo uma aposta ética do cuidado de si, em que se concebea pesquisa acadêmica comoefeito dos afetos produzidos nos encontrose não o contrário,como defendem algumas racionalidades que partem dos pressupostos de que pesquisadora e pesquisa são produtos distintos e de que é possível estabelecer uma neutralidade entre ambas.
Este artículo presenta algunos supuestos éticos, teóricos y metodológicos que reconocen la investigación académica como una apuesta ética de autocuidado. Siguiendo el itinerario intelectual de Michel Foucault el artículo aborda el camino que el filósofo recorre por la antigüedad griega y romana en el que reconoce experiencias de subjetivación vinculadas a una ética de autocuidado. Foucault reconoce un cambio de la relación de subjetividad y verdad en la Antigüedad a la moral moderna que, de las ciencias de los hombres, reconoce el conocimiento de sí mismo, ligado a la identidad, como capaz de establecer la verdad sobre los sujetos. Este conocimiento como ser capaz de fijar y naturalizar los modos de existencia, modos de subjetivación que tiene como referencia el sujeto ideal del conocimiento. Desde el enfoque con los griegos y romanos Foucault reconoce otras experiencias de subjetivación, otro régimen de relación del sujeto con la verdad, en el que el sujeto y la verdad no están vinculados por el exterior (como por ejemplo en esa relación prescritapor la ciencia y el cristianismo), pero por una existencia estilística. Ante esto, planteamos algunas pistas sobre las posibilidades de pensar en los procesos de investigación como una apuesta ética de autocuidado, en el que la investigación académica es reconocida como el efecto de los afectos producidos en los encuentros y no al revés ya que defienden algunas racionalidades que dependen de los supuestos de que el investigador y la investigación son productos distintos y que es posible establecer la neutralidade.
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo desentrañar los principios filosóficos que están en la obra recién publicada de Alejandro G. J. Peña, El Réquiem de Weltschmerz II. Crisálidas de cristal. En ...primer lugar, se contextualizará la obra. En segundo lugar, se expondrá y reflexionará críticamente sobre el contenido. Finalmente se desarrollará una última sección acerca de la forma en la que se redacta el libro, punto clave para su comprensión.
Este artículo plantea la posibilidad de efectuar una renovación teórica en las ciencias sociales de corte constructivista a partir del giro realista surgido recientemente en el marco de la filosofía ...continental contemporánea. Para ello revisamos algunos aspectos básicos de la ontología orientada a objetos de G. Harman, de la teoría del ensamblaje de Manuel De Landa, y del materialismo especulativo de Q. Meillassoux. Nuestra hipótesis de partida sostiene que estas tres teorías poseen un amplio potencial teórico para reactivar el debate en torno al tema de la realidad en el campo de la investigación social, al margen de cualquier subjetivismo, ya sea mediado por el lenguaje o la conciencia. Por último, pensamos y problematizamos los posibles cambios teóricos y metodológicos que podrían presentarse en este ámbito de investigación una vez asumido el giro ontológico realista de los filósofos aquí revisados.
With his article Surrationalism, 1936, (now in The Rationalist Engagement), Gaston Bachelard codifies the neologism surrationalism by which he describes his engagement in favor of a kind of ...rationality that rejects any closing within the dogmas of indisputable knowledge. The aim of this paper is not only to analyze this concept in its connection with the philosophy of no and the philosophy of re , but also to highlight the semantic effect of the sur that in Bachelard s text multiplies and produces many neologisms. This necessity to provoke language to take over the effect of liberty produced by surrationalism could find another theoretical resource in the term plasticity , as it is used by Catherine Malabou to characterize Hegelian thought and as it is taken by Derrida to identify a kind of reason which does not dominate reality.
In Minima moralia, Theodor W. Adorno develops a discourse that bridges philosophy, sociology and pedagogy. The present article aims to highlight, in Adorno's work, the coexistence and the ...intertwining of these three dimensions, summing them up under the category of "form"--be it a social institution or a sign of the "formation" of every man. Other problems are then taken into account, namely the reification of forms and the decline of experience; finally, still following Minima moralia, the possibility of dismissing the very concepts of "form" and "formation" is discussed and rejected. En la primera edición de La dialéctica hegeliana (1972) se anuncia lo que el propio autor llamará “subversivo desquiciamiento” de sus ideas a partir de la lectura del libro Totalidad e Infinito de ...Emmanuel Levinas. A pesar de esto, Enrique Dussel no incluye dicha edición entre los escritos correspondientes al período de su itinerario intelectual denominado Filosofía de la Liberación sino dentro de la etapa previa, lo cual, extrañamente, no hará con la reedición efectuada en 1974 y bautizada ahora Método para una filosofía de la liberación. En el escrito que aquí presentamos intentaremos mostrar en qué consistió dicho “desquiciamiento” producido en la edición de 1972 y explicar por qué la edición de 1974 sí merece ser incluida, a criterio del mismo Dussel, en la etapa de la Filosofía de la Liberación.
Based on the existing research on sound symbolism and crossmodal correspondence, this study proposed an extended research on cross-modal correspondence between various sound attributes and color ...properties in a group of non-synesthetes. In Experiment 1, we assessed the associations between each property of sounds and colors. Twenty sounds with five auditory properties (pitch, roughness, sharpness, tempo and discontinuity), each varied in four levels, were used as the sound stimuli. Forty-nine colors with different hues, saturation and brightness were used to match to those sounds. Result revealed that besides pitch and tempo, roughness and sharpness also played roles in sound-color correspondence. Reaction times of sound-hue were a little longer than the reaction times of sound-lightness. In Experiment 2, a speeded target discrimination task was used to assess whether the associations between sound attributes and color properties could invoke natural cross-modal correspondence and improve participants' cognitive efficiency in cognitive tasks. Several typical sound-color pairings were selected according to the results of Experiment 1. Participants were divided into two groups (congruent and incongruent). In each trial participants had to judge whether the presented color could appropriately be associated with the sound stimuli. Result revealed that participants responded more quickly and accurately in the congruent group than in the incongruent group. It was also found that there was no significant difference in reaction times and error rates between sound-hue and sound-lightness. The results of Experiment 1 and 2 indicate the existence of a robust crossmodal correspondence between multiple attributes of sound and color, which also has strong influence on cognitive tasks. The inconsistency of the reaction times between sound-hue and sound-lightness in Experiment 1 and 2 is probably owing to the difference in experimental protocol, which indicates that the complexity of experiment design may be an important factor in crossmodal correspondence phenomena.
Manufacturing systems are among the main consumers of energy. Several methods and tools have been developed to support companies toward energy efficiency. However, they generally require high ...computational effort, onerous measurement campaigns or complex models. In this paper, a method to perform a lean energy assessment starting from the asset characteristics is proposed. It is based on a set of corrective factors that consider both technical and productive aspects. The final goal is to overcome the lack of precise data needed to identify hotspots from the energy point of view. A real industrial case study allows implementing the method and demonstrating its usefulness.
Atividade física produz saúde. Ao admitir a precoce veracidade que a afirmação suscita, a desconstruímos na dimensão ideológica para recolocar os propósitos da atividade física no âmbito da saúde. ...Para sustentar este deslocamento, buscamos respaldo no conceito de Grande Saúde forjado na filosofia de Nietzsche e deste âmbito lançamos considerações sobre as práticas corporais, para discutirmos o cuidado a partir de imperativos fisiológicos, preocupados com as necessidades vitais do corpo. Tais possibilidades só emergem quando se potencializa o encontro do sujeito consigo e com o outro – tal como operado no contexto das práticas corporais. É a qualidade deste encontro que permite experimentar a Grande Saúde.
