Studie o sociálním rozumění a sdílení světa nejen u člověka a věnuje se současným diskuzím o povaze sociálního rozumění, zejména v případě nelinguálních tvorů. Na závěr je uvedena možnost biosémiotické reinterpretace mimo-lidského sociálního rozumění na pozadí teorie umweltu.- Th is study is inspired by the book Jak rozumíme druhým? Studie o sociálním rozumění a sdílení světa nejen u člověka (How do we understand others? On social understanding and sharing of the world in humans and other animals) by Petr Urban and pays attention to current discussions about social cognition, namely in the case of non-linguistic agents. Most prominent positions are held by the group of comparative psychologists led by M. Tomasello, stemming from the philosophers of collective intentionality, and the group around D. Leavens and K. Bard, which is related to an interactivist interpretation of social cognition. It is demonstrated that the diff erences in the results of empirical studies are based on the ontological commitments of individual research programs, coupled with their relation to the problem of anthropological diff erence. Th e study questions the possibility of choosing a suitable theory by the means of the philosophy of science. At the end, a reinterpretation of non-human social cognition on the basis of umwelt theory is brought out.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. Promjene u budnosti ispitane su s pomoću zadatka ...jednostavnog vremena reagiranja i zadatka pozornosti, a promjene u raspoloženju s pomoću skale procjene različitih raspoloženja.
Z provedené úvahy vyplývá, že chce-li filosofie smysluplně přispět k aktuální interdisciplinární debatě o povaze vztahu mezi člověkem a zvířetem, měla by tak činit informovaně a s (minimálně) základním přehledem o nejnovějším stavu empirického výzkumu.- The phenomenon of joint attention is, on the interpretation of Tomasello’s evolutionary-anthropological school, one of the main keys to the understanding of the distinction between man and other animals. This conception has had a strong influence on some contemporary philosophical attempts to capture the difference between man and animal. The article draws attention to radically different empirical theory that is arising from the latest discoveries in the field of comparative psychology and the ethology of primates which show that all the aspects of joint attention can be found in our closest animal relations. From the considerations presented it follows that if philosophy wishes to meaningfully contribute to actual interdisciplinary debate about the nature of the relation between man and animal, it should conduct itself in an informed way and with, at least, a basic grounding in the latest state of empirical research.- Petr Urban.- Obsahuje seznam literatury- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. SEMRPs provide insight into various cognitive mechanisms related to planning, programming, generation and execution of the saccadic eye movements. SEMRPs can be used to investigate pathophysiological mechanisms of several disorders of the central nervous system. Here we shortly summarize basic findings concerning the significance of SEMRP components, their relationship to the functional brain asymmetry and visual attention level as well as changes related to certain neuropsychological disorders.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication.
In this article the author considers legal questions in respect of covers loss or damage to the subject-matter caused by latent defect in the machinery or hull. To see what is in fact covered one must understand the Court of Appeal decision in the Nukila (1997) and the new clause 2.2.2. of International Hull Clauses of 2003.It is then clear that the basic coverage for loss of or damage to the subject matter insured caused by latent defect in the machinery or hull is exactly the same as with previous Institute Time Clauses. In the case of damage, it is repaired, it is the reasonable costs of repairing that consequential damage after allowing for any deductible, that is claimable. Any claim should therefore initially be adjusted in exactly the same way under all three sets of Clauses (1983, 1995 and 2003). Then, in the case of the new clauses, there is novel restriction on coverage to be considered – do actual costs so adjusted of repairing the consequential damage exceed the costs that would have been incurred to correct the latent defect. To the extent that they do, the assured may recover. In this sense, the underwriters appear to have taken the wiev that the basic hull cover should revert to the pre Nukila position, which had generally been accepted until that case was litigated.
