Schools with Italian as the medium of instruction in Slovenia are open to all children and young people, regardless of their ethnic affiliation. The article addresses the impact of linguistically ...diverse classes on the linguistic development of children attending Italian nursery schools. The children’s parents provided basic background information on the child’s language use outside nursery school. The level of the children’s communicative competence in Italian, in terms of listening comprehension and oral production, was measured by means of a standardised test. Although results may not always be statistically relevant due to the small number of participants, they show that the prevailing presence of children that only speak Slovene at home does not hinder the linguistic development of children that only speak Italian at home, and that the Slovene-only cohort clearly benefits from attending Italian nursery school.
članek predstavlja koncept queerovskega pristopa k vzgoji, ki ga razume kot okvir, znotraj katerega je moč razpravljati o istospolnih družinah v vrtcih in hkrati slediti zahtevam po kritičnosti, ...objektivnosti in pluralizmu, na katerih temelji pred- šolska vzgoja. empirična podlaga za članek je analiza kurikula za vrtce in raziskava, ki jo je med vzgojiteljicami in pomočnicami slovenskih vrtcev leta 2012 izvedla avtorica. Analiza Kurikula je pokazala, da ima Kurikul nastavke, na podlagi katerih bi lahko uvajali govor o istospolnih družinah znotraj vrtca na več nivojih. Rezultati raziskave pa kažejo, da vzgojiteljice in pomočnice v večji meri istospolnih družin ne omenjajo. v članku predpostavljamo, da (queerovska) pravljica In s Tango smo trije, ki prikazuje vsakdanje življenje istospolne družine, predstavlja primer dobre prakse in primerno orodje, s pomočjo katerega lahko vzgojiteljice in pomočnice otrokom na njim razumljiv način predstavijo istospolne družine.
At a time when crucial questions concerning the nature of early childhood and early childhood education are being increasingly examined worldwide, an exploration of the issues, priorities, and ...methodologies of research in early childhood education may provide valuable material for debate.
