Prispevek predstavlja poskus uporabe kmečkih zapuščinskih inventarjev za namen preučevanja življenjskega standarda s primerjalnim pristopom. Za namen primerjave smo izbrali štiri študije, ki se ...ukvarjajo s stanjem na Češkem, Madžarskem, v Belgiji in Kataloniji. Poglavja prispevka imajo, tako kot izbrane študije, različne metodologije. Kljub različni stopnji natančnosti navedenih podatkov v obravnavanih inventarjih lahko iz vsakega obravnavanega območja izluščimo posebnosti, ki se nanj nanašajo in so s slovenskimi inventarji najbolj primerljive. Z vidika vsakdanjih predmetov je bilo življenje povprečnega kmeta na različnih koncih Evrope in v Sloveniji dokaj podobno.
Feng šui je tradicionalna kitajska umetnost oblikovanja podpornega bivalnega okolja. Kljub številnim fengšuiskim znanstvenim prispevkom se jih zelo malo ukvarja s (primerjalnim ali eksperimentalnim) ...preverjanjem dejanske ucinkovitosti fengšuiskih priporocil. Tudi arhitekturna stroka se do pojava nikoli ni jasno opredelila. Izvedena primerjalna analiza poskuša zato odgovoriti na raziskovalno vprašanje, ali je izbranih118 priporocil fengšuiske šole oblike usklajenih s priporocili jezika vzorcev Alexandra in sodelavcev ter izbranimi spoznanji okoljske psihologije. Rezultati pritrjujejo raziskovalnemu vprašanju in kažejo, da je 34% (40 priporocil od118) priporocil usklajenih z jezikom vzorcev in da je 45% (53) v celoti ali delno usklajenih s spoznanji okoljske psihologije. Skupaj je v okviru enega ali drugega sistema znanja skladna (posredno potrjena) dobra polovica (natancneje 57% ali 67) priporocil, kar pomeni, da obstaja velika verjetnost, da ta priporocila dejansko imajo na uporabnike prostora vpliv, kot ga obljubljajo. Dvojno skladnih je 27 priporocil (23%), pri cemer se jih najvec povezuje s fengšuisko shemo petih živali, pomenom prisotnosti vode in naravne svetlobe v bivalnem okolju ter pomenom glavnega vhoda. Najvecji del priporocil, ki ostane neprekritih, se povezuje s kitajskim konceptom življenjske energije qi (izg.ci).

Die Autorin argumentiert, dass ...gesellschaftliche Teilhabe, kollaborative Produktion und offener Zugang zu Inhalten, sowie Abstand zu Markt und Staat, zentral sind für die Legitimation dieser Medienorganisation im digitalen Zeitalter. Sie bespricht drei gegensätzliche Zugänge zur Theorie der Commons und die damit verbundenen «konzeptionellen Stolpersteine», dann schlägt sie 18 Merkmale vor, um Medienorganisationen als «Media Commons» zu analysieren. Anhand einer Dokumentenanalyse untersucht sie 30 öffentliche Rundfunkorganisationen – «übliche Verdächtige» wie ARD, BBC, ORF und SRG, aber auch weniger bekannte Organisationen. This volume uses the theory of the commons, which is often associated with Elinor Ostrom, to conduct a holistic analysis of public service broadcasting. The author argues that social participation, collaborative production and open access to content, as well as distance to markets and the state, are central to the legitimacy of this form of media organisation in the digital age. She discusses three opposing approaches to the theory of the commons and related ‘conceptual stumbling blocks’, and suggests 18 characteristics in order to analyse media organisations as ‘media commons’. By means of a document analysis, she examines 30 public service broadcasting organisations—including ‘the usual suspects’, like ARD, the BBC, ORF or SRG, but also lesser known organisations. She concludes that public service broadcasters feature some, but by no means all, of the characteristics of ‘media commons’ and that they operate with varying degrees of sustainability.

In doing so, they have independent expert committees monitor them on an increasingly frequent basis. However, in what ways do these committees have an influence in this respect? And what role do they play as policy advisors in terms of dismantling bureaucracy and better legislation? This book provides new insights into the history of the development of the three most experienced supervisory bodies in Europe and the reality of how they conduct themselves. Against the backdrop of various administrative cultures, the book presents the following types of supervisory committees in detail: ‘watchdog’, ‘gatekeeper’ and ‘critical friend’. Raziskava predstavlja primerjalno analizo zbirke nemških pravljic Jakoba in Wilhelma Grimma Otroške in hišne pravljice (1812, 2006), romanske pravljice (novo odkritje ameriškega znanstvenika Jacka ...Sipesa), ki jih je zbrala Laura Gonzenbach v zbirki Lepa Angiola (1870, 2006) in zbirka Slovenske pravljice (2002). Primerjalna naliza istega motiva temelji na strukturalistični teoriji znanstvenika Vladimirja Proppa Morfologija pravljice (1928, 2006), folkloristični teoriji motivov ameriškega folklorista Stitha Thompsona Motif-index of folk literature (1989), literarni teoriji švicarskega znanstvenika Maxa Lüthija The European Folktales: Form and Nature (1947, 1986), psihoanalitično teorijo Bruna Bettelheima (Rabe čudežnega, 2001), sociološko teorijo Jacka Siepsa (Why fairy tales stick?, 2006), feministično teorijo Clarisse Pinkola Estés (Ženske, ki tečejo z volkovi, 2001) in poststrukturalistično teorijo Marie Nikolajeve (Fairy Tale and Fantasy, 2003). Primerjalna analiza splošnih podobnosti in razlik evropskih pravljic se bo osredotočila na študij primera na motivu živalskega ženina oz. živalske neveste v vseh treh zbirkah pravljic. Izsledki primerjalne analize motiva bodo predstavili tudi primerjalno analizo podobnosti in razlik med germansko, romansko in slovansko inačico pravljice. Izsledki primerjalne analize bodo predstavljeni na koncu raziskave.
Gegenstand der Arbeit bildet die aus Skandinavien stammende Rechtsfigur der "Erweiterten Kollektiven Lizenz" ("extended collective license"), welche über die Erstreckung von Kollektivverträgen die ...Lizenzierung von umfassenden Werkrepertoires an Nutzer ermöglicht. Trotz ihrer wachsenden Popularität ist die Erweiterte Kollektive Lizenz wissenschaftlich noch nicht annähernd erschöpfend behandelt worden. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden anhand einer umfassenden Analyse zunächst das Wesen, die Struktur sowie die maßgeblichen Aspekte dieser Rechtsfigur näher untersucht. Aufbauend auf diesen Erkenntnissen widmet sich die Arbeit anschließend der Frage, ob und inwieweit die Erweiterte Kollektive Lizenz im Einklang mit höherrangigem Recht in Deutschland und Europa in Zukunft nutzbar gemacht werden könnte. Gerade an der Nahtstelle von Exklusivität und Kollektivierung vermag das Modell in bestimmten Bereichen den erforderlichen Interessenausgleich im Urheberrecht zu gewährleisten.
