This paper proposed a valid and reliable perceived quality assessment framework of administrative services in Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in the Brazilian context. The method was in two main ...stages: (i) map a set of quality attributes and dimensions for administrative services in HEI, (ii) build and test the perceived quality assessment framework and data collection instrument of the administrative services in a HEI. The theoretical contributions of this manuscript were the differentiated scope with a focus on administrative services in HEI, since most of the previous research addresses the area of education (final service), and the development of a specific framework for assessing administrative service quality. The managerial implication highlight was that this study can be reapplied to other HEI to improve existing services quality assessment and control instruments. Adopting the proposed structure, the HEI could promote improvements in administrative services quality and advance in the quest for excellence.

The effect of conventional convective drying (CCD) and convective solar drying (CSD) based on a solar collector and photovoltaic on the quality of dried red pepper was researched. The study was aimed ...to determine the effect of five drying system (CCD 50°C, CCD 60°C, CCD 70°C, CSD, and open sun drying) on the quality attributes of dried red pepper. The quality observed were rehydration ratio, ascorbic acid, capsaicin, non-enzymatic browning index, anthocyanin, and carotenoids. The results of the study confirmed that the drying system significantly affected the quality attributes of dried red pepper except for anthocyanin. The CSD had a satisfactory result, shown by some attributes (carotenoids, ascorbic acid, and ratio) which were not statistically different from the quality of dried red pepper gained from CCD 50°C.
This study aimed at assessing improvement opportunities of the discipline of Introductory Accounting from the students’ point of view. The research is classified as descriptive and quantitative. The ...data collection was carried out with a survey, which questionnaire was applied to junior students e nrolled in the introductory accounting discipline in the accounting and business administration courses at a university of the Itajaí River Valley, Santa Catarina State, Brazil. We used Kano Model and the Importance-performance Matrix. The study concluded the priorities for improvement for accounting students are the use of IT laboratory for problem solving and the quality (up to date) infrastructure of computer labs and classroom. Students of the business administration considered extracurricular activities and modernity of computer labs as the main opportunities of improvement.

Mobile business applications have become the trend of the day. However, studies suggest that most of the mobile business appli-cations so far are lightweight, consisting of a few thousand lines of ...code. Indeed, most of these mobile business apps are nothing more than specialized information query engines relying on the backend server to process the queries. However, we now see a trend toward making enterprise-size apps mobile . But if the "design while coding" approach may have worked for limited size applications, this is clearly not enough for enterprise-size apps. Indeed, such applications will encounter the same maintenance problems as traditional applications. In this paper we propose an agile architecting approach to adapt the enterprise apps to the mobile. This approach promotes the code understandability Quality Attribute to lower the future maintenance cost of the application.
