The aim of this research is to examine the relationships between the factors of job satisfaction (pay, promotion, supervision, fringe benefits, contingent rewards, operating procedures, co-workers, ...nature of work and communication) identified by Spector and the organizational commitment in travel agencies in Serbia. The survey was conducted during March and April 2020, on a sample of 152 respondents, using a survey method and validated instruments: Job Satisfaction Survey and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire. Research findings indicate a significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Furthermore, the results indicate that pay, promotion, fringe benefits, co-workers and communication correlate significantly with employee commitment, while between the other factors of job satisfaction (supervision, contingent rewards, operating procedures, nature of work) and organizational commitment, there are moderately positive relationships. Implications, research limitations and suggestions for future research are presented.
Evidence-based design (EBD) has become an accepted paradigm in environment-behaviour endeavours in recent years with documented benefits, especially in healthcare facilities. However, little is known ...of its application to University Campus Open Spaces (UCOS) like University Zoological Gardens (UZGs) which accounts for the repetition of design mistakes. This study aims to assess the UZGs as a major component of UCOS in South-west Nigeria with a view to formulating EBD frameworks. It adopts a comparative post-occupancy evaluation (POE) approach through a Stratified Random Sampling protocol of users (n=3,016) of the gardens in Federal Universities in South-west Nigeria. Results of the quantitative data analyses suggest that while walk-ability is a primary satisfaction factor among thirty design considerations in the formulated model, legibility is the most primary cognitive factor for designing perceptible high-quality UZGs. The study argues in favour of the developed framework as design tool-kit and recommends its application as a feed-back input into the design process of UZGs.
The article considers a problem of modelling of customers’ satisfaction with educational services on the basis of the latent factors determining relations between subjective and objective ...characteristics of the quality of educational service. The three stages of forming of customers’ satisfaction are revealed in the analysis, reflecting the dynamics of interaction between customers and educational service providers. To describe the essence of this interaction theconcepts of elementary and compound educational services are introduced. The results of experimental exploration of the level of educational service satisfaction in general and according to certain characteristics of students from different universities are represented. The typical situations of satisfaction are revealed regarding different educational forms, stages and specialties. The structure of latent satisfaction factors obtained in the exploratory factorial analysis for different types of customers is analyzed, the models of cause-effect relations between themare considered. The factors are interpreted from the point of view of customers and education service providers regarding the search for acute trends of education service quality improvement.
The article is devoted to a complex research of interdependence of subjective indices of women's satisfaction during fitness training on differentiated planning of such training taking into account ...phases of the ovarian-menstrual cycle (OMC) and individual peculiarities of personal psychophysiological profile of participants.
The study involved 93 women aged 22–27 engaged in fitness at the sports club "Spartak" in Kamianske. Women were divided into two groups: EG – experimental group (n=51) and CG – control group (n=42). The first group was studied taking into account the phases of OMC, the second group – without it. To achieve the objectives we used the following scientific methods: theoretical, empirical, psycho-diagnostic, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. It was determined that the manifestation of physical skills is closely related to women's general physical well-being and mental parameters in different phases of ОMC. Comparative analysis of the data shows that the indicators of functional and psycho-emotional states of EG women significantly exceed the results of CG. The results of the article proved the importance of subjective markers of satisfaction and their determinant effects on the overall effectiveness of fitness and also proved the possibility to take into account the phases of OMC and the individual characteristics of the psychophysiological profile of women in the planning of fitness programs and changes in marketing policy of fitness centers.
Background: Job satisfaction among health care workers is crucial and considered as an essential parameter that affects their productivity and work's quality. Methods: A cross-sectional ...questionnaire-based study was conducted among health care workers in Saudi, males and females, to assess the impact of job satisfaction on health service quality. A random sampling technique was applied to select the participants. An online questionnaire was sent electronically to all health workers in Saudi. The data was collected and analyzed using SPSS version 21, P value < 0.05 was considered significant. Chi-square test of significance will be applied at the 5% level of significance. Results: Out of 226 participants, 73.9% were females, and 26.1% were males, and the majority of the participants (n = 108, 47.8%) aged between 31 to 40 years old. Half of the participants (50%) were married, 37.2% were physicians, 70.8% of the participants work at the public organization, and 61.9% of them had more than 3 years of work experience. Stress management and patient satisfaction significantly impacted the participant's satisfaction with their job (P = 0.001 and P = 0.021, respectively). Poor management was the highest factor that affected the quality of the provided care in the hospitals (40%), but without any significant difference (P-value = 0.210). The participants showed neutral satisfaction with their work (38.1%), and most of them had a low satisfaction level (n = 119, 52.7%). Conclusion: Job satisfaction and the quality of the provided care are strongly associated with each other. The overall level of job satisfaction among health care providers in Saudi Arabia was low.

Inadequate on-campus student accommodation in Sub-Saharan higher educational institutions triggered the need for private sector intervention in the off-campus student private housing (SPH) delivery ...within university communities. This paper examines students' experiences of off-campus accommodation in terms of satisfaction indicators and driving factors in a vulnerable university's communities in South-southern Nigeria. The paper drew upon a sequential exploratory mixed method, comprising semi-structured interviews and a questionnaire survey. The paper explored interconnectivity of satisfaction indicators and factors within the threshold of building's physical attributes, community-related attributes, contract-related covenants, academic and social environment capability, through CAQDAS; Atlas.ti. The paper found disproportionate students' satisfaction level within the filtered elements and scored the overall satisfaction low. Methodologically, a convergence of results pointing to the factors for improving physical, locational, landlord commitment to tenancy agreement on services and management, and flexible regulation of students' social activities, from the two approaches, was observed. Variation surfaces from the individual rating of each indicator and the driving factors. Five distinct recommendations emerged; policy on planning, environment, and building regulations compliance, reform on SPH governance, stakeholders democracy, parent' involvement in off-campus governance, and a committee on private housing accreditation in the university communities.
The growing demand for experienced travelers seeking unique experiences is reflected in the rise of new travel consumption patterns. These new travel patterns of consumption are encouraging the ...emergence of alternative forms of accommodation, such as hostels. This research paper aims at analyzing the quality of services provided by the awarded Tattva Design Hostel, exclusively through their online consumer reviews (OCRs) in order to identify the most important guests' satisfaction factors in low budget accommodation. In total, 976 online guests' reviews were analyzed, corresponding to a year in the hostel activity. NVivo 11 Plus software was used to analyze and cluster reviews into tangible and intangible dimensions. The high level of guests' satisfaction is intrinsically associated with the importance of the backpackers' experience itself. Intangible aspects, such as the "team" and "friendliness," are crucial for a high level of satisfactory experience during the stay and to promote positive word of mouth (WOM). Tangible elements, as hostel location are highly relevant too. Besides budget services, backpackers reveal high levels of satisfaction with cultural and social activities organized by the staff. Opportunities and major challenges are discussed along with suggestions to contribute with useful information for all microsites hosting companies.
The level of job satisfaction of employees is reflected in the working behaviour of the man. The low level of job satisfaction may be reflected by reduced stability, discipline, responsibility, as ...well as lower power, fluctuation, lack of staff and so on. The aim of this paper is to determine the level of satisfaction with selected factors through the research of employees’ job satisfaction. The factors of job satisfaction were divided into three dimensions–requirements and benefits of labour, status and relationships in the workplace and organizational settings. The theory of job satisfaction indicates a very strong relationship between employee age and its relationship to work (satisfaction with aspects of the work). In theory for the young respondents are the main factors of job satisfaction the career prospects and the nature of the work. For the older workers the nature of the relationship between employees and management is becoming less important. For this reason, the intention of the research was to verify the validity of conclusions theories on employees operating in Slovakia. Within the research was used the method of questioning (interview). To evaluation of the data were used statistical tools and methods (analysis of variance, Duncan test).
Research question: The objective of the present research work was to examine the effect of the intrinsic determinants of satisfaction on the accounting professionals’ organizational commitment (OC) ...in Tunisia. Motivation: Only few works have focused on the accounting profession. As a result, our research aimed to bridge this gap in the literature and focus on accounting professionals.Idea: Our study aimed to examine the effect of intrinsic determinants of satisfaction on accounting professionals’ affective, normative, and continuance commitments in Tunisia.Data: As part of the research, we chose to use two administration methods: face-to-face and internet surveys. The methodology was applied to 180 accounting professionals. Out of 204 accounting professionals, we received 192 responses. A total of 12 questionnaires were rejected due to missing data. Thus, 180 collected questionnaires were considered. Tools: To the ends of our research, we relied on the principal component analysis to reduce the items to a limited number of components. The three dimensions of OC, i.e., affective, normative, and continuance, were assessed concurrently to present the existing interactions for each equation. This choice is justified by the presence of a high endogeneity risk between the intrinsic factors and each dimension. To surmount this problem, the simultaneous equation model was estimated by means of the seemingly unrelated regression (SUR) approach.Findings: Our findings prove that intrinsic determinants of satisfaction, namely achievement, advancement, work itself, recognition, and growth, have a positive and significant effect on the three dimensions of OC.Contribution: Our findings contribute to a better understanding of the effect of intrinsic determinants of satisfaction on the three dimensions of OC of accounting professionals.
