The rhetoric is concerned with the expressive emphasis of things, the science of the statement takes the treatment of graphic images and rhetorical fiction, and in the science of the exquisite ...dealing with the study of verbal and moral improvements, and in the science of meanings took all related to compositions and methods, and these vocabulary entered into the field of art and its branches largely, especially in the uncle and art of design because it has a major role in including a lot of biological functions with a deep meaning of its comprehensiveness on the multiplicity of real meanings characterized by suggestive and important and semantics refer to the recipient in the research to refer to the recipient The discovery of the internal contents, meanings and meanings of speech, which came through the technical, intellectual, expressive, functional and aesthetic orientation to present multiple show options consistent with the design idea. This research highlighted the extent of the semantic reflection of the brand's rhetorical expression and the presentation of the research problem was based on the question: What is the semantic reflection of rhetorical expression in brand design? The research included four chapters, from which the theoretical framework identified two theories and addressed the following topics: (the intellectual and philosophical vision of the concept of significance, the rhetorical, semantic and deliberative concept of expression in the brand, and the methods of reflecting the expressive significance in the design of the brand), and then addressed the research indicators that produced the theoretical framework, including the semantic interaction of rhetorical expression, representing a structure loaded with formal rather than verbal meanings, crystallized in the embodiment of expressive rhetoric in the design of the brand. The third chapter dealt with the procedures he carried out, which included the methodology of research by selecting the descriptive approach for the purposes of analysis, adopting the method of the sample intended in the selection of sample models, if (5) models were chosen from the research community and by (25%) of the original community, and then singled out the fourth chapter to present the results, discuss them and conclusions, as it came from: Key words (Expression, Rhetorical, reflectance, Significance) 1. The eloquence of expression was shown by the suggestive significance of the movement of the arrow, which represents a smile that represents the satisfaction and joy of the consumer, as it was achieved by that indication the strength of the indicator represented by the smiley arrow under the written text as in the models (1.5), but the results include: 1. Rhetorical expression is not a compilation of different elements or multiple words in meaning, but rather a mediator who engages and interacts with elements so that their qualities are acquired from each other as a result of the interaction based on organization and order of the elements of the idea.
What is dead may never die (?). Removal and Re-signification of death in the contemporary world What Is Dead May Never Die, the motto of the House of Greyjoy in "Game of Thrones", takes us back to a ...time when death did not represent the dissolution of human existence, but the fulfillment of a destiny. At least, ritualized and celebrated, it implied the promise of remembrance and allowed one’s placement within a collective narrative. The same cannot be said of today's conception of death, no longer considered within a community dimension, but increasingly individualized. Its rites of passage, whether secular or religious, are increasingly stripped of sacredness. Death, today, does not represent, in common feeling, a completion, but only the end.The purpose of this Issue is to investigate the multiple philosophical, ethical and anthropological paths within which the theme of death is addressed.
The city is no longer while urbanisation is growing. This crisis, theorised as early as 1968 by Lefebvre in Le Droit à la ville, is not new. However, it seems to have taken a new dimension since the 1980s, period of globalisation at the world level, which coincided with the passing of the decentralisation law in France. City branding, through a profusion of graphic and narrative signs, used both to stabilise the substance of the city against the infiltration of urbanisation, and to make it legible and singular in a world that has embraced generalised coopetition (Fernandez and Leroy, 2010), has paradoxically led to a loss of meaning (Lussault, 1997). By imposing a labelled meaning of the city, excluding certain areas, certain readings, have marketers not locked users into the role of « lecteurs modèles » (Eco, 1985), making the experience of urbanisation difficult, if not impossible? In the end, is the crisis of urbanisation not, above all, a crisis of meaning? If so, does the contemporary « dérive » (drift) not have interesting potentials to be explored?
The research concerned with the specificity of signs, symbols and their presence in the Egyptian environment and society, their ways of showing and their effects. Ideas are transmitted to societies ...through a visual connotation that preserves each society's privacy. Although the image of communication may be slow, it cannot be ignored. The awareness of the visual significance of the Egyptian personality and its history through various sources is enough to contribute to strengthening the feelings of the Egyptian identity, as symbols are a special reality from the profound experiences that people achieve through the symbols themselves. Receiving the information visually occurs continuously, but it can be said that many instances of visual communication may reach the point of realizing the visual signs with absolute ease through a series of mental responses to the signals sent as messages by the visual connotation.Hence,Significance in its artistic concept, especially in design and especially the shape of the face, plays an important role that lies in moving the design in a way that is compatible with the idea, meaning and response through the symbol affecting the audience of the design, especially the indications and symbols of the face shape as a means of conveying ideas, in addition to the indication in the shape of the face moving through Symbol, color, shape, size, etc. The intellectual content of the design of the face shape, especially the container of civilizations and ideas, the shape of the face has an important role as well, especially in revealing the goal and communicating the idea presented to the recipient in its various intellectual, social, and other directions. the significance role emerges as one of the communication tools that have evolved with the development of the technological systems, and its cultural transformations that reflect the way of life and society. Also, it can provide high-quality communication material that, in addition to excitement, it can deliver messages that may nourish the soul and mind and support the society’s integration.
The present commentary addresses cybersemiotics, a transdisciplinary theory of communication, signification, information, and cognition which is based on the work of Danish scholar Søren Brier. ...Cybersemiotics is a metatheory that encompasses the research programs of information theory, first and second-order cybernetics, Luhmann’s systems theory, cognitive sciences, Peircean biosemiotics, pragmatic linguistics, and language game theory. I will explore some of these theoretical frameworks and how cybersemiotics integrates them.
This article aims to analyze semiotically the Muslim scholars' understanding of the hadith in Fath Albari, written by Ibn Hajar Alasqalani. The focus of the study refers to three things; ...understanding models, examining semiotically (significance and communication) on understanding models, and the contribution of semiotics in the hadith understanding discourse. By making two hadith as its analysis objects; first, the hadith about believers who eat with one intestine and infidels with seven intestines; second, the hadith regarding the deeds most loved by Allah SWT. The results of the study show that the understanding model of hadith in Fath Albari is divided into textual (symbolic and non-symbolic) and contextual (symbolic and non-symbolic) models of understanding. This model, semiotically (significance and communication) has given a new nuance to the study of hadith understanding. The understanding model of the first hadith, in semiotic significance, indicates the existence of an understanding model with a signifier of denotation and connotation levels. In semiotic communication, the understanding model of the second hadith is seen more systematic because it elaborates reasoning continuously, and shows the important contribution of semiotics in the hadith understanding discourse, like eliminating truth claims and being media for developing textual and contextual understanding.
Novel cover is like human appearance; it is the first thing that the people will take notice of. It turned out that novel cover is quite essential in influencing the opinions and impression of the ...reader regarding the novel itself. Novel s cover using symbols, fonts, and colors, construct cover signs functions. The researcher intends to analyze the novel covers sign functions. The source data of the research is selected using purposive sampling following the standard of a novel cover. This research uses three (3) covers of the novel Undomestic Goods by Sophie Kinsella as the data source. The theory of signification by Rolland Barthes is the analytical tool of this research used to determine the function of the elements in the object of research. The results of the study are both covers have their own significations functions; the first edition (1) cover function emphasizes on promoting the novel by using signification content of the novel. Cover (2) emphasizes promotion function using the author popularity and best-selling author status and promoting the novel by using signification content of the novel. Cover three (3) the latest edition function emphasizes on advertises the novel by using the author popularity and best-selling author status.
An important resource for educators who desire to use literary texts in cultivating vocational exploration among students or in scholarship on vocation.
To progress in the field of lyrical art, one must draw strength from origin. As water flows inevitably from source to sea. The legend of “The Flying Dutchman” (Der Fliegende Holländer) came to ...Wagner’s mind during the violent storm that broke as he left Riga for France. At the genesis of this opera, stands the sovereign power of nature, carrying within it the secret destiny of man. As an enigma. The main theme of the cursed captain would be today differently understood. Because romanticism, limitless love and supreme sacrifice, redemption, are gone over. But face from the sea in fury, man’s heart stays with fundamental interrogation about meaning of life and existence. One could read this raging ocean as the mirror of a tormented, wandering, unstable conscience. That’s why “The Flying Dutchman” is ever contemporary. We propose to extract (to save) from these upset waters the true Leitmotif, unperishable, that leads to the dawn of Future. Our method lies in total freedom of interpretation and complete reconstruction of this Wagner’s masterpiece.
