Na levi na traktorju Emil Glušič (po domače Miklavžekov) in na desni na traktorju je Berč Pušnik (po domače Alekšev), umrl v velenjskem rudniku v rudarski nesreči okrog 1975. Ostali: Miran Lesjak (po ...domače Antonov), Marica Legnar (po domače Bočeva), Mehačeva Justi, Jože Cvikl (po domače Golakov), Oto Vanovšek (po domače Trnovškov), Irena Rednak (po domače Miklavžekova) in Vili Drev.
Leta 1961 je v Celju gostovala reprezentanca Gane (glavno mesto Akra). Na Glaziji, kjer se je zbralo veliko gledalcev, se je tekma začela mirno, v mejah korektnosti. Ker pa je moštvo Kladivarja z ...dobro igro premagalo svoje nasprotnike z rezultatom 4:3, so le-ti dobesedno podivjali. Najprej na igrišču, kjer so brcali po vsem drugem razen po žogi, po tekmi pa še iz avtobusa, ko so pomendrali podarjene rože, razbili uokvirjeno sliko mesta Celje in pljuvali po ljudeh. Celjski navijači jim niso ostali dolžni in so metali nazaj banane (takrat so bile prilično drage) in skandirali: opice, opice. Lokalni tisk o tem srečanju ni preveč obširno poročal (domnevno iz politične korektnosti do neuvrščene gostujoče države).

Physical modeling of sediment transport and morphology in rivers as well as wastewater dilution processes are closely related to the modeling of macro turbulent fluctuations. The physical modeling of ...hydraulic macro turbulent fluctuations is complicated and underestimated. The study of turbulent flow structure and verification as well as model calibration is required in this case.

are presented in the paper. Experience in hydraulic modeling of bed processes in the Neris and Nemunas rivers contributed to the viable results. As laboratory tests showed, after the scales of the Nemunas bed had been distorted 12 times, the turbulence of modeled flow increased causing 3 times more intensive wastewater dilution processes in a physical model of the Nemunas bed. When modeling the bed processes of the Neris in Vilnius in a hydraulic model with the scale distorted 6,7 times, it was determined that a more intensive turbulence caused a 25 % thinner bed soil layer and nearly 3 times higher velocity of vertical turbulent flow. This was considered when calculating the results obtained in a model into natural ones and when choosing proper means for designing riverbed hydraulic structures.
The rapid rate of urbanization and increasing demand for water in agriculture and industry are the reasons for considering groundwater as a main source of water. This can be a prologue to ...contamination of groundwater. Phosphorus as a type of nutrient that is derived from fertilizers has adverse effect on surface and subsurface water. The aim of this study was to monitor groundwater quality and the fate of contamination via three dimensional finite-different groundwater flow simulation (i.e. Visual MODFLOW version 4.2.). The study area was the campus of University Putra Malaysia. The monitoring indicated that the concentration of phosphorus is higher than those imposed by the standard of the Malaysian Department of Environment (DOE). Results of contamination transport modelling revealed the different rates of phosphorus transport in layers at the end of simulation period.
Horizontal subsurface flow constructed wetlands can effectively treat high levels of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and suspended solids. They are also effective as phosphorus trap but usually for a ...short time. This phenomenon was observed in the presented case study, an example of subsurface flow reed bed filled with "improved" site soil where it was assumed that the permeability of bed would increase as a result of reed penetration. Fine grained site soil was initially effective trap for phosphorus from wastewater. However, during operation clogging of bed media proceeded and phosphorus sorption capacity used up. In general, the longevity of subsurface flow wetlands as phosphorus sinks depends on the hydraulic load, phosphorus load and the type of the media used in bed construction. To be effective as phosphorus sorbent, substrate should contain high levels of Ca, Al and Fe oxides and possess suitable sorption capacity, quick time of reaction and suitable permeability.
