Despite increasing public interest and concern about young people's involvement in the self-production of sexual images (or ‘sexting’), there remains a dearth of research into their reasons for ...making and sending images, the processes involved, and the consequences arising from their experiences. This article reviews the motivational, lifestyle and personality factors influencing adolescent sexting practices and explores the research evidence within the wider context of debates around contemporary social and visual media cultures and gender. A systematic search of databases was conducted and eighty-eight records were identified for inclusion in the review. The findings reveal that sexting is remarkably varied in terms of context, meaning and intention, with the potential for consensual and non-consensual aspects of the activity. Whilst sexting can be a means of flirting or enhancing a sexual relationship, it can highlight potential vulnerabilities to victimisation or to participation in risky sexual practices. Sexting is also inextricably linked to social expectations of gendered sexual behaviours, with females often deriving less satisfaction from their experiences and being perceived more negatively by their peers. Further research linking adolescent motivations, well-being, relationships and lifestyles with the broader socio-cultural and media landscape will ultimately help drive understanding about the subject forward.

There are many language skills that must be mastered in learning English, consequently the proper media is required to accommodate this need. Webtoon is the solution for these problems, which is a ...very popular digital comic application with more than 100 million downloads and provides a wide variety of genres which can help to learn English skills. The previous research examined the use of webtoon as a learning media to mastering vocabulary, improve students reading skills, speaking skills and writing skills. However, no research has been conducted on the use of webtoon for all English language skills. Therefore, this study aims to investigate of using webtoon applications for students’ English skills. This study employed qualitative approach, and the design used in this study was systematic literature review. The method of collecting data in this research is by using 25 research articles that were collected from Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Microsoft Academic, ScienceDirect, and the Perpustakaan Nasional. From twenty five articles that researchers have been investigated it was found that webtoon media has a big impact on students’ English skills. The illustration images available on the webtoon also help in understanding the story and difficult words for the readers and also do not make the students bored. Therefore, this article is structured to investigate how the use of webtoon for students could increase their English skills.
Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia mampu meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa yang dapat digunakan dalam menjalin hubungan dengan orang lain. Proses pembelajaran yang tidak bervariasi menyebabkan siswa ...tidak tertarik dan merasa bosan dengan pelajaran bahasa Indoensia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia keterampilan menulis teks berita siswa kelas VIII SMP Diponegoro 2 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 31 anak. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif berupa data tes menulis teks berita. Sedangkan data kuantitatif berupa pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang diperoleh melalui lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran audio visual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks berita siswa kelas VIII SMP Diponegoro 2 Jakarta. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari presentasi hasil tes tindakan siklus I yaitu dari 31 siswa mengikuti tes, sebesar 58% atau sebanyak 18 orang siswa yang mendapat nilai ≥70. Sedangkan hasil tes tindakan pada siklus II dengan presentase 90% atau sebanyak 28 siswa mendapat nilai ≥ 70, sehingga penelitian ini dihentikan pada siklus II karena indikator keberhasilan penelitian telah tercapai yaitu 85%.

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of implementing the Mim-Mem (Mimicry-Memorization) Method with the support of visual media in enhancing Arabic speaking proficiency in a school ...environment. The Mim-Mem Method combines mimicry for better understanding and memorization for vocabulary reinforcement, while visual media is utilized as a clear representation of the learning material. The research methodology employed is classroom action research with students from grade XI A at SMP IT Sahabat Alam Pelabuhan Ratu Sukabumi as the subjects. Data were collected through observations, tests, and field notes over two research cycles. The results were analyzed to measure the improvement in students' speaking abilities. The research findings demonstrate a significant enhancement in students' speaking skills after applying the Mim-Mem Method with visual media. The average scores increased from 64 in the pre-test to 81 in the post-test, indicating the effectiveness of this method as a learning approach. The discussion involves in-depth analysis regarding the positive impact of the Mim-Mem Method with visual media on Arabic speaking skills among students. The novelty of this research lies in the innovative combination of methods with a visual approach, providing an effective solution to learning challenges. In conclusion, the implementation of the Mim-Mem Method with visual media makes a positive contribution to improving Arabic speaking skills among students at SMP IT Sahabat Alam Pelabuhan Ratu Sukabumi. Recommendations for future research could focus on further developing this method, including variations in teaching approaches and more specific adjustments to students' characteristics. Additionally, further studies could explore the effectiveness of this method in higher education contexts or different educational environments.
This study aims to determine the effect of the development of audio-visual media on the motor-physical development of students in BIG Kindergarten. This study involved early childhood students aged ...5-6 years as participants. An audio-visual-based online learning approach was used in this study to introduce students to interesting physical activities and support the development of their motor skills. This research method use appropriate methods. The proposed solution is the use of audio-visual media which contains games as access to learning materials to develop children's gross motor skills. LCD/Projector is used to display learning videos. The results showed that the audio-visual media developed, including jumping over shapes, hot ball cold ball, cloth rolling ball, light ball, stepping on a tiger's tail, kangaroo ball game, and motion exercises and songs, had a positive influence on students' physical-motor development. Assessments from physical education experts, sports experts, and teachers show that this media gets a high score in the very good category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the development of audio-visual media in learning gross motor skills has a positive impact on the physical-motor development of early-age students. This media also received a positive response from students and educators, indicating a higher level of motivation and involvement in sports learning. This research contributes to the development of an innovative and effective learning approach in improving gross motor skills of early childhood students.
This study aimed to evaluate community members' skills and comprehension in reading Arabic news before and after they used audio-visual media. The theoretical underpinning of this study is the idea ...that exposure to audio-visual materials will enhance one's news reading skills. The researchers' theory states that people interested in reading the news through audio-visual media have improved their news-reading skills. The method used in this research was a quasi-experimental method with a one-group design based on pre-test and post-test. The population in this study covered all members of the news reading community, totalling 20 students at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This research used quantitative data analyses of pre-test and post-test results using the Lilioforce equation. One of the present study’s results showcased that prior to employing the audio-visual media, the members of Arabic Language Teaching Division's news-reading mission had a poor level, as seen by the average score of 68.3. Their grade after utilizing it was good, as evidenced by the average score of 87.2. According to the interpretation criterion, the result of (N-D) was 0.60 or 60% in a moderate classification. Therefore, these results indicated that the audio-visual method effectively improved news-reading skills. This study suggests future’s research to assess the other foreign language proficiency in greater detail using a wider range of research techniques.
One of the ways to improve Human Resources is to familiarize yourself with forming a culture of high-level critical thinking with skills (HOTS) in the learning process. Therefore, in the process of ...learning biology, a strategy is needed that is able to make students master learning concepts well. This study aims to determine the influence and response of students on the use of guided inquiry learning models on students' critical thinking skills. The samples in this study were 28 students in the third semester of classes A and B of the biochemistry course program. Data collection techniques are carried out using observation sheets and questionnaire sheets. The method used in the study is quantitative descriptive statistics. Based on the analysis results, it shows that the use of guided inquiry learning models assisted by audio-visual media positively influences students' critical thinking ability with a percentage of 93% (Very good). Supported by positive student responses to the use of guided inquiry learning models assisted by audio-visual media with a rate of 95% (Perfect). Abstrak Salah satu untuk meningkatkan Sumber Daya Manusia adalah dengan membiasakan untuk membentuk budaya berpikir kritis tingkat tinggi dengan ketrampilan (HOTS) dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu dalam proses pembelajaran biologi dibutuhkan suatu strategi yang mampu membuat mahasiswa dapat menguasai konsep pembelajaran dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan respon mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester III kelas A dan B program mata kuliah biokimia sebanyak 28 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan lembar observasi dan lembar angket. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media audio-visual mendapatkan pengaruh yang positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dengan presentase 93% (Baik sekali). Didukung oleh respon mahasiswa yang positif terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media audio-visual dengan presentase 95% (Baik sekali).
