    Legal language is a collective term used to describe the language used by lawmakers (e.g. the language of statues), legal experts interpreting and applying statues and other formal legal sources as ... well as by legal sciences. Legal language is based on the spoken language built up and supplemented by professional terms so as to form a special technical language. In a wider sense, legal language must also incorporate everyday legal experience that is very varied as to its expression and content. The article deals with issues like legal language and its nature, legal terminology, nature and characteristics of the language of statues, understanding and interpreting legal language, relations between the language of statues and of science and linguistic quality of legal substantiations.
