  • The influence of the technological parameters on the quality of the laser cutting process

    The paper describes the influence of various technological parameters on the quality of laser cutting for the CO2 laser systm. The cutting parameters are first important to the programmer of the ... laser system and then to the machine operator. It is necessary to determine the effect of parameters, as this will help to fully utilize the laser system and reduce production costs. The system`s applicability id illustrated by an example of optimized production basing on a genetic algorithm. The benefits include material economy, high quality and productivity. The use of different materials with different thicknesses and the reduction of production costs without the need to change tools are also possible.
