    In 1992, blood lead and blood cadmium concentrations were determined in 13- to 17-year old volunteers attending two schools at Celje, Slovenia. Results are shown descriptively for different subgroups ... according to their expected degree of exposure and are discussed together with the concentrations of these heavy metals found in food, soil, and air. Blood lead and blood cadmium levels lay predominantly in their safe ranges; higher cadmium values could not be explained sufficiently. The questionnaire data revealed some interesting aspects, which need further elucidation.
