This article focuses on phraseological antonymy and its meaning in semantic inter-phraseological relationships, which has not yet been fully defined and researched in Slovenian phraseology. The author proceeds from a typology of antonyms and existing theoretical positions on phraseological antonymy and focuses on the problem of defining such relationships. A more detailed classification of antonymic phraseological expressions is also proposed. The research highlights references to antonymy in phraseological dictionaries and their significance in understanding of phraseological component parts.
