Contemporains de Chauvet, les arts de Coliboaia constituent des traces évidentes de traditions mythologiques et artistiques à travers le continent européen, au cours des migrations aurignaciennes vers l’ouest. Elles s’ajoutent aux composantes ethniques (morphologie moderne), techniques (armes osseuses) et comportementales (monte d’animaux rapides). Dating at the same time as Chauvet in the very West, the Coliboaia rock arts in Romania are obvious proofs for traditional mythologies and arts unities, extended all across the continent during the Aurignacian expansion from the East of Europe. These traits are to be added to the ethnicity (modern people), technologies (antlers weapons) and behavior (fast animals riding).
