Tourist attractiveness is one of the central and most complex issues in tourism studies. Despite its importance, this issue is conceptualized very little by the Francophone community and studied in a very sectoral manner in Anglophone research. This work aims to provide a window of dialogue between the Francophone and Anglophone academic communities to generate elements for discussion and to contribute to the construction of a solid base for a better understanding of the phenomenon of tourist attractiveness and a better interpretation of this issue from a definitional and structural point of view.
