This paper presents the market outlook of the main agricultural commodities in Central and Eastern European countries ('CEECs') that form part of the EU. AGMEMOD1 partial equilibrium models are used to simulate the effects of policy changes, trends in technological developments, consumptions patterns and macroeconomic conditions. In order to present the post-accession effects we compare projections for the 2015 with those for 2001. In general, the study provides evidence that the CEECs are gaining from accession to the EU, especially in crop sectors and in beef and pork sectors, whereas dairy milk production would be lower.
