The UNDP Regional Bureau of Arab States has published its first comprehensive report on Arab human development, the Arab Human Development Report 2002. The report provides the researchers with a tool of measurement that is known as alternative human development index, which is more representative and humane measurement of human development than the Human Development Index used in UNDP global reports. Here, bin Talal discusses the changes and the advantages of reforms in the Arab Human Development Report.
