Ljubljana, 2 March (STA) - Rajko Pirnat, the dean of the Ljubljana Law Faculty, told the latest edition of political weekly Reporter that he is not happy with the situation Slovenia has put itself in the border dispute with Croatia. "With the latest developments we have made an agreement effectively impossible, while talks are getting increasingly difficult." Commenting on the resolution on the border with Croatia adopted by parliament under the NATO referendum threat, Pirnat says that specifying the border claims in a way ties Slovenia's hands when it comes to possible mediation. The resolution, as a negotiating position, is pretty much "carved in stone".
