    Extended description: Območje mesta Izmit v zahodnem delu Turčije je 17. avgusta 1999 prizadel močan potres, ki je zahteval 17.840 življenj. Pri reševanju ponesrečencev izpod ruševin je sodelovala tudi ekipa iz Slovenije. Pogovor v studiu prof. dr. Dušan Nećak, predsednik logističnega centra Društva vodnikov reševalnih psov Slovenije. On August 17th, 1999 the city of Izmit in Western Turkey was hit by a massive earthquake that claimed 17,840 lives. A rescue team from Slovenia also participated in the efforts to rescue the injured and free them from the rubble.
