TORONTO, Feb. 19 /CNW/ - "The Canadian government must level the playing field for grains and oilseeds farmers," says Brian Kriz, President of the Grain Growers of Canada. "The have-your-cake-and- eat-it-too policy in the U.S. is making Canadian farmers sick." "It is government's responsibility to provide a level playing field for Canadian grain farmers," says Ken Bee, Grain Growers of Canada's Vice- President. "Ideally, this would come through trade agreements, but it can only be created by increasing government support here in the short-term."
