    The article reconsiders the requirements and perspectives of integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the European Union. With its geographical position, multi-ethnic structure and tradition of ... multicultural coexistence and tolerance, Bosnia and Herzegovina is in a position to strengthen the idea of integration of peoples and nations in the European Union. Despite the existence of a general consensus of the citizens of B-H on the accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union, the European discourse in Bosnia and Herzegovina remained within the framework of the ideological conformity dynamics and deeply subordinated to the interests of ethnic parties' political elites. The concept of governance establishing on ethnic basis is expounded the problems as one of the main causes of stagnation in the process of integration into the EU, wherefore the establishment of democratic consolidation seems to be necessary. The key problem is the impossibility of ethnic parties to form a parliamentary majority coalition with the political agenda. The governance of the political parties on a partnership basis, destroys the power of the Parliament of B-H, and thus of parliamentary democracy...
