This paper deals with phenomena of current commulation in commulation electricmotors. The commutation phenomena can be recognized from the oscilloscope snaps of measured current and voltage of the ...electric motor, equiped with the leadings of two consecutive armature coils, connected to the slide rings.In the second part of the article, there is a calculation of capacitors for suppression of over voltages, caused by commutation current of the armature coils. The characteristics of the electric motor, gained by integrated suppression capacitors, are: the lower commutation currents at the instant of separation of the brush - segment contact, narrower carbonized trace on the sliding surface of the brush and longer duration of the collector.
