Anchoring the TDAF pump to a 12 day old SFRC foundation [Elektronski vir]

The paper first presents and discusses the results of preliminary investigations of SFRC. These investigations also examined the workability of fresh SFRC. SFRC's good workability ensures that the ...anchor bolts are well embedded in the foundation of TDAF (Turbine driven auxiliary feed-water) pump. However, the results of the hardened SFRC tests showed that the anchoring of the TDAF pump could start as early as 12 days after the SFRC was placed in the foundation. This finding was confirmed by the results of force and displacement measurements during tightening of the anchor bolts on the test beam. Based on this finding, it was possible to construct the SFRC foundation and install a TDAF pump during a 30-day overhaul at the Krško Nuclear Power Plant.
