Akustička emisija kod elektrolučnog zavarivanja = Acoustic wave emission in arc welding process

In this paper measurements of acoustic waves generated during gas shielded arc welding process are presented. Acoustic waves were simultaneously measured in the surrounding air and in the welding ...parts by employing microphone and PZT sensor. Signals were analyzed in time and frequency domain. Signal's kurtosis, signal energy and power spectral density were calculated. It is found out that chosen characteristics of acoustic signals depend on welding process and might be used for on line monitoring of the welding process. Power spectral densities of PZT signals might be used to determine the frequency of metal drop transfer.
