  • Introduction of the new ecologically accepted cutting fluids in the machining processes. Part II
Soković, Mirko ; Kopač, Janez, 1949-
ǂThe ǂdevelopment of environmentally clean manufacturing technologies requires careful and circumstantial analysis especially on the field of cutting fluids. The development of additives for cutting ... fluids has led to new products, which are used in specific machining procedures such as tapping. In this paper an analysis of the ecological parameters of the cutting fluids and its influence on the machinability parameters is shown. Some results of machinability tests, which were done in tapping threads into standard reference steel C 45 E4 and Al-alloy AlMgSiPbBi for free cutting show how it is possible to achieve accaptable machinability parameters by use of new environment - friendly cutting fluid.
