This paper presents an example of the radio coverage simulation using the freeware Radio Mobile (RM). First, preparation of multilayer maps using the on-line resources is described. We obtain digital ...elevation model on a near-global scale from NASA's Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data with 3 arc second resolution. Next, procedure of radio network modelling is described in detail. It is followed by the description of various simulation options and presentation of the results.
