    New European Union legislation demands labelling of feed with genetically modified organisms (GMOs). On the basis of preliminary studies on GMOs detection, we can expect frequent presence of GMOs in ... feed, especially genetically modified soya. Will Slovenian people get used to feed labelled to contain GMOs? Can such feed affect anirnals? Do we have to label the meat fromsuch animals? The article tries to answer these and similar questions, andalso adds the information on the presence of GM plants in the world, the procedure that determines the release of GMOs on the market and the explanation of the regulations on labelling of GM food and feed.
