  • "Religija ni zasebna zadeva"
    Kerševan, Marko, 1942-
    Together with a presentation of the discussion in Germany, described in the work "Religion ist keine Privatsache" (Wolfgang Thierse, ed.), the author discusses the validity and limits of the position ... that "religion is a private matter" in modern democratic societies. In this context he observes several discussions about newer documents of the European Union talking about the status of religion, Church and religious communities and debates the interpretation and implementation of constitutional principle of separation of state and religious communities in the Republic of Slovenia. Author agrees with conclusions that the prospective place of public activities of religious communities is in the sphere of civil society and not of the State (state organs and administrative bodies).
