Within the DAT project - an initiative of Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus -a smart home environment has been set up where people with disabilities can improve their abilities to cope with daily ...life activities by means of technologically advanced home automation solutions. Such smart home has a threefold purpose: 1) a physical setting, where clients with disabilities go through individual training programs aimed at improving their independence in the home environment; 2) a demonstration and educational facility where anybody interested may get familiar with the latest advancements in home auto.
