Energy structure plays a key role in the development of nations and energy supply related to nation’s safety, consumption, manufacture and environmental impact. Otherwise, ...people acceptance of energy also is a consideration in policy decision. Under the consideration of economic, environment and public opinion, making an optimum energy structure must be an importance issue for government. In Taiwan, 90% energy used is depending on fossil fuel, in which 97.8% was imported from aboard in 2014. It still keep 3.84% growth rate in annual energy consumption. The short of own energy and the responsibility of greenhouse gas reduction have caused the action of looking for the available alternative energy. However, using energy also cause water consumption problems, particularly in Taiwan, where is one-fifth of the world average and recognized as a relatively poor area of water resources by United Nations. Therefore, in this reasearch, a compromise programming optimization model was built fir

Abstract
This research is conducted with the baseball team of Pu-Men High School as the subject, in attempt to understand its history and development, explore how Buddhist ...culture would influence the management and operation of the team, and structure different strategies and practices for the team’s philosophy and management in hope to make positive influences for baseball development in Taiwan.
The methods used in this research are participant observation and semi-structured interviews, accompanied with secondary sources. Twelve coaches and students were selected using intentional sampling for interview on four facets of the baseball team: philosophy, management, culture, and consensus.
Through study of the interviews and data from secondary sources, following points have been discovered:
1. Team Management Philosophy:
a. Management philosophy under Buddhist culture differs from typical teams. It is the result of behaviors that is been managed.
b. Initiated from the Dependent Originatio
Enthoprotin, a newly identified component of clathrin-coated vesicles, interacts with the
trans-Golgi network (TGN) clathrin adapters AP-1 and GGA2. Here we perform a multi-faceted analysis of the ...site in enthoprotin that is responsible for the binding to the γ-adaptin ear (γ-ear) domain of AP-1. Alanine scan mutagenesis and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies reveal the full extent of the site as well as critical residues for this interaction. NMR studies of the γ-ear in complex with a synthetic peptide from enthoprotin provide structural details of the binding site for TGN accessory proteins within the γ-ear.

We reviewed our experience using Levovist (Schering AG, Berlin, Germany) for the ...sonographic diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma.
Contrast-enhanced sonography with Levovist facilitated detailed evaluation of tumor vascularity in hepatocellular carcinoma.
Contrast-enhanced sonography with Levovist enhances the role of sonography in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma. It provides detailed information about tumor vascularity and the contrast enhancement pattern.
The sporadic emergence of New Delhi metallo-β -lactamase-1 (NDM-1)-producing Acinetobacter spp. has been reported in China; however, NDM-1-positive bacteria epidemics are rarely reported in intensive ...care units (ICUs) in China, or even in the world. During 15 months' surveillance Acinetobacter spp. isolated from patients, heathcare workers and surfaces of a Chinese ICU were screened for the blaNDM-1 gene. A total of 27 of 3114 Acinetobacter spp. strains were NDM-1 positive and identified as A. pittii with sequence type 63 (ST63) by multilocus sequence typing. Of the 27 NDM-1-positive A. pittii strains, 22 were isolated from the ICU surfaces and grouped into a major clone A using pulsed-field gel electrophoresis typing, while the other five strains isolated from the patients were classified into three clones (A, B and C). The blaNDM-1 gene was located on a 45-kb plasmid for all three A. pittii clones. The plasmid could be transferred to A. pittii and A. baumannii recipients at both 30 and 37°C but not to Escherichia coli J53. The plasmid could not be classified into any of the known plasmid incompatibility groups. The blaNDM-1 region in the plasmid was flanked by two insertion sequence elements, ISAba125 and ISAba11, and no other carbapenemase gene was present in this NDM-1-positive A. pittii isolate. Thus, we present the first report on the transmission and characterization of NDM-1-producing A. pittii in an ICU in China as well as a novel blaNDM-1 gene-bearing plasmid.
Summary
Background
It remains unclear whether initial compact lipiodol uptake after transarterial chemoembolisation (TACE) is associated with improved survival in patients with hepatocellular ...carcinoma (HCC).
Aim
To reveal the clinical relevance of compact lipiodolisation after TACE.
Methods
We studied 490 patients with unresectable HCC who had first been treated with TACE. Compact lipiodolisation was defined as the absence of an arterial enhancing lesion, reflecting complete lipiodol uptake, as assessed by dynamic computed tomography (CT) 1 month after treatment. The rate of initial compact lipiodolisation was analysed according to multiplicity and size of tumour, and survival of patients who achieved compact lipiodolisation was compared to that of patients who did not.
Results
Of the 490 patients, 409 (83.5%) were in Child–Pugh class A and 81 (16.5%) in class B. The rate of initial compact lipiodolisation in single HCCs was higher than that in multinodular HCCs (33.7% vs. 14.6%, P < 0.001). Among single HCCs, the rate of compact lipiodolisation in tumours ≤5, 5–10 and >10 cm was 46.6%, 13.6%, and 0% respectively. The 1‐, 3‐ and 5‐year survival rates of patients with compact uptake were 92.7%, 70.7% and 52.4% compared to 60.8%, 28.0% and 16.9% in patients with noncompact lipiodolisation. Multivariate analysis revealed that Child–Pugh class, alpha‐fetoprotein level, tumour node metastasis stage, portal vein thrombosis and initial compact lipiodolisation were independent predictors of survival.
Conclusions
Initial compact lipiodol uptake after transarterial chemoembolisation is associated with improved survival in patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma. Accordingly, initial complete lipiodolisation should be considered a relevant therapeutic target.
