This article is devoted to the problem of recovering the ages of social network users by using machine learning to combine the methods suggested in this article. Methods based on analyzing the user ...profile information about education, subscription, and information about the education of the user’s friends are considered. All of these methods can be used individually for samples of users with certain characteristics. To increase the proportion of users whose age can be recovered, a classification model was built for choosing the best age inference method for each. Two other age inference algorithms were tested as well, namely, ranking and score averaging. As a result, the first approach produced the best results on the test sample. The theoretical significance of this work consists in proposing a method of combining age inference algorithms, which increases the applicability and accuracy of individual algorithms. The study results can be applied in many spheres of analyzing user profiles in social network studies.

The article deals with the problem of forming the autocompetence of a preschool teacher as a universal characteristic as a part of the structure of professional competence. The article substantiates ...the idea of the role of auto competence in the dynamic adaptation of the teacher in modern educational realities. The formation of auto competence is presented in the form of a step-by-step model that reveals the logic of the process based on objectively existing contradictions between the understanding of the importance of increasing the level of awareness of the subject’s own personality, and insufficient knowledge of a specific set of means and conditions that motivate him to self-knowledge. The authors trace the features of the formation of auto-competence at each of the stages described in the study. The article summarizes the practical experience of implementing the program for the auto competence formation into the process of psychological and pedagogical support of teachers.

In this paper, the possibility of noise diagnostics by the method of positive definite Töplitz correlation matrices is studied. The advantage of this method is its purely mathematical nature; no model of the process is employed. The method is applicable whenever the process is quasi-stochastic. The results are compared with those from the conventional spectral analysis.

Apolipoprotein E transports lipids and couples metabolism between astrocytes and neurons. The E4 variant (APOE4) affects these functions and represents a genetic predisposition for Alzheimer's ...disease, but the molecular mechanisms remain elusive. We show that ApoE produces different types of lipoproteins via distinct lipidation pathways. ApoE forms high-density lipoprotein (HDL)-like, cholesterol-rich particles via the ATP-binding cassette transporter 1 (ABCA1), a mechanism largely unaffected by ApoE polymorphism. Alternatively, ectopic accumulation of fat in astrocytes, a stress-associated condition, redirects ApoE toward the assembly and secretion of triacylglycerol-rich lipoproteins, a process boosted by the APOE4 variant. We demonstrate in vitro that ApoE can detect triacylglycerol in membranes and spontaneously assemble lipoprotein particles (10–20 nm) rich in unsaturated triacylglycerol, and that APOE4 has remarkable properties behaving as a strong triacylglycerol binder. We propose that fatty APOE4 astrocytes have reduced ability to clear toxic fatty acids from the extracellular milieu, because APOE4 reroutes them back to secretion.

Neutron noise spectra in nuclear reactors are a convolution of multiple induced reactivities. Under normal IBR-2M reactor operating conditions the full noise range can reach ±22% with respect to average power. Slow changes in average power (induced for instance by the control rods) are thereby much smaller than the neutron noise, however they are of importance in conducting the safe operation of the reactor. The problem we address is the separation of neutron noise from the slow power-changes. For this task we used an algorithm based on the basic element method (BEM) developed at Laboratory of Information Technologies – LIT JINR. The algorithm was applied to both static and dynamic states of the reactor in the 0–2 MW power range. The average processing time for one point on a x86_64 Intel Core i5-4570 Sandy Bridge processor at 3.20 GHz, was approximately 50 μs, which allows the use of the MSPPA-6 algorithm in real time.
Abstract
Experimental data on the assessment of flax varieties and breeding numbers were obtained in field experiments at the experimental field of ERPC - Agrotechnopark FSBEI HE Izhevsk SAA on ...sod-medium podzolic medium loamy soil in the grain-grass crop rotation in 2015-2016, 2018, 2020. It was found that the change in the yield of whole and long fiber in the varieties and breeding numbers of fiber flax by 41.6…64.3% was caused by the influence of soil and meteorological conditions. Among the studied collection, the combination of good plasticity and stability to abiotic conditions is characteristic of the domestic variety TOST 2, according to the yield of long fiber – the breeding number from Lithuania – B-168 and the variety from France – Diane. It was found that the domestic varieties TOAST 1, Zaryanka, Antey and the breeding number K4196×1288/12 provided relatively high stability in the yield of the whole and long fiber in various abiotic medium conditions. This made it possible to use these varieties as a source material in breeding programs.
