This article presents research on museums during the occupation and annexation of Crimea since 2014, as well as information relating to institutions in the Kyiv, Kherson, and Zhytomyr regions of ...Ukraine following Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. The first part of the article analyzes the situation of the Museum of Crimean Tatar Heritage housed in the sixteenth-century Bakhchysarai Palace. In the second part, the article discusses museums dedicated to Joseph Conrad, Polina Rayko, and Maria Prymachenko, together with activist ‘open-air’ museums by Banksy in the de-occupied part of the Kyiv region. With these geographical emphases, this article complements others in this collection.
This paper presents the results of studies on violence against women in many countries worldwide, including female citizens of the countries and female immigrants. The paper has been written using ...the results of research conducted by the World Health Organization, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the South African Medical Research Council; the fellowship project on female immigration, supported by the Scientific & Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK); and the Research on Domestic Violence against Women in Turkey, conducted by the Hacettepe University Institute of Population Studies and the Ministry of Family and Social Policies in Ankara, Turkey. The paper has combined several studies on preventing violence against female citizens and female immigrants conducted in various countries throughout the world.
The article presents the results of a theoretical and practical exploration of several forms, categories and types of women’s resistance in Ukraine and abroad against occupation and war in Ukraine ...starting from 2013-2014. The main objective is to explore and explain this resistance. The primary data for analysis were collected by semi-structured interviews with a variety of Ukrainian women in Kyiv, Prague, and Warsaw between April and June 2019. The interviewees were selected through the purposive sampling method. The secondary data was based on analysis of academic articles, data from national and international organizations, charities as well as information from media discourse on Internet websites. Also, one of the main goals of the research was to discover the impact of women’s resistance to changing gender stereotypes, models, and gender inequality in the Ukrainian Army and society.
O artigo apresenta os resultados da exploração teórica e prática de várias formas, categorias e tipos de resistência feminina na Ucrânia e no exterior à ocupação e à guerra na Ucrânia a partir de 2013-2014. O objetivo principal do artigo é explorar e explicar essa resistência. Os dados primários para análise foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com uma variedade de mulheres ucranianas em Kiev, Praga e Varsóvia entre abril e junho de 2019. As entrevistadas foram selecionadas por meio do método de amostragem intencional. Os dados secundários foram baseados na análise de artigos acadêmicos, dados de organizações nacionais e internacionais, instituições de caridade, bem como informações do discurso da mídia em sites da Internet. Além disso, um dos principais objetivos da pesquisa era descobrir o impacto da resistência das mulheres à mudança de estereótipos, modelos e desigualdade de gênero no Exército e na sociedade ucranianos.

El objetivo principal del artículo es explorar y explicar esta resistencia. Los datos primarios para el análisis se recopilaron mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas con una variedad de mujeres ucranianas en Kiev, Praga y Varsovia entre abril y junio de 2019. Las entrevistadas fueron seleccionadas mediante el método de muestreo intencional. Los datos secundarios se basaron en el análisis de artículos académicos, datos de organizaciones nacionales e internacionales, organizaciones benéficas e información del discurso de los medios en sitios web de Internet. The Russian invasion of Ukraine is the continuation of a war that has raged in the country since 2014. It is not the result of contemporary politics: it is the manifestation of long-standing designs ...on Ukraine as a territory and a misunderstanding of both the Ukrainian state and its peoples. Consequently, governments and institutions have been insufficient, if not outright hostile, to support for Ukraine’s efforts at repelling Russian forces beyond internationally-recognized borders. This article analyzes various kinds of (in)action from both other states and international organizations. First, the historical, sociocultural, and military origins of the war are explored. Next, an analysis of both states and international institutions is conducted, revealing the ulterior motives and underdeveloped rationales of these actors. Several cases of mistakes from international organizations are next presented. After, two positive examples of support for Ukraine are explored. Finally, a warning is made against placating Russian aggression and the need for deterrence against expansion in the future.
The article presents the exploring of legal support of non-cash settlements in economic activity. In the article, the complex analysis of the tendencies of the legal regulation of the cashless ...transfers in commercial activity has been done. Also, the article has been prepared some recommendations on improvement of non-cash settlements, taking into the consideration fact that there are different types of payments under modern economic conditions, which change the approaches to the specific features, protection, and the peculiarities of their usage. Besides, in the article, some problems of the legal regulation of cashless settlements have been investigated according to the papers of international academics from different countries. Also, some legal documents of the state Ukraine in this direction have been analysed in the paper. Among the documents was the Instruction on Cashless Payments in Ukraine in the National Currency; the Civil Code of Ukraine, etc. Therefore, the legal support of non-cash settlements in economic activity is critical and valuable because all the support, as well as all the conditions of the implementation of the modern informational and telecommunication technologies in the activities of the financial institutions, may increasing of the clients’ demand on the services of the cashless transfers.

This paper presents the results of theoretical and practical studies of surrogate motherhood in Ukraine and worldwide, its legal regulation, management practice, and prospects of development. It ...deals with a critical analysis of Ukrainian legislation concerning this subject. The methodology of the research consisted of primary and secondary sources of information. The authors collected primary data from semi-structured interviews with Ukrainians living in Poland, Ukraine, the United States, and several other countries. The interviews aimed to investigate the reasons for the growth of commercial surrogacy in Ukraine. The authors also scrutinized the attitudes of Ukrainians towards the flourishing of this phenomenon in their country. Secondary information the author took from sources such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations (UN), and others. The paper also considers surrogacy maternity as a legal fiction and one of the rights of the fourth generation and discusses the links between surrogate pregnancy, exploitation, and human trafficking.
