This paper investigates the effects of a primary user (PU) within a cognitive amplify-and-forward (AF) network using general selection combining (SC) techniques whilst under the influence of ...non-identical Rayleigh fading channels. The net- work's operation will be determined mathematically by deriving a closed-form expression for the network outage probability (OP) from expressions for the probability density functions, cumulative distribution functions of the end-to-end signal to interference noise ratios (SINR) for the channel links. Also, asymptotic calculation is used to define the upper bound of the power transmit constraint for optimal performance within an underlay spectrum. The effects of a moving primary user are also investigated by using MATLAB simulations. The results will be displayed graphically and denote the primary user in three unique places based on an (x, y) co-ordinate system.
In a timestamp-base packet scheduler, which is an important part of Quality of Service (QoS) enabled network systems, Tag Sorting is the most critical step. This paper presents a high throughput ...pipelined architecture for Tag Sorting targeting FPGA technology. Our implementation results on Xilinx Virtex II pro 50 chip have shown that our design can run at a maximum clock frequency of 216 MHz and process one tag every 2 clock cycles, thus provides 108 million tags per second throughput and can support 100 Gbps line speeds.

We show high-temperature ferromagnetism in heavily Fe-doped ferromagnetic semiconductor (Ga 1-x ,Fe x )Sb (x = 23% and 25%) thin films grown by low-temperature molecular beam epitaxy (LT-MBE). Our ...crystal structure analysis by scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) indicates that the (Ga 1-x ,Fe x )Sb thin films maintain the zinc-blende crystal structure at x = 25%. The intrinsic ferromagnetism was confirmed by magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) spectroscopy and anomalous Hall effect (AHE) measurements. The Curie temperature reaches 300 K and 340 K for x = 23% and 25%, respectively, which are the highest values reported so far in intrinsic III-V ferromagnetic semiconductors.
