Objetivo: Identificar e analisar diferenças nas características da tarefa, do conhecimento e sociais no trabalho de servidores do Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ), e, secundariamente, verificar a ...validade fatorial, convergente, preditiva e discriminante do Work Design Questionnaire (WDQ) no contexto do Poder Judiciário brasileiro. Originalidade/valor: Com o desenvolvimento do WDQ, o desenho do trabalho passou a ser ainda mais estudado mundialmente. Também no Brasil, desde sua traduçao e adaptaçao, essa variável vem apresentando grande repercussão na gestão de pessoas, sendo este o primeiro estudo no âmbito do Poder Judiciário brasileiro. Des/gn/metodología/abordagem: Por meio de survey encaminhado aos 2.898 servidores, obtiveram-se 895 respostas, que foram submetidas a análise de estatísticas descritivas, análise fatorial confirmatoria, análise de confiabilidade, análise de correlaçao de Kendall-tau e teste Kruskal-Wallis. Resultados: A característica do trabalho mais reconhecida foi o suporte social, enquanto a menor foi a interaçao fora da organizaçao. Conhecimentos especializados sao mais requeridos de profissionais de nivel superior. No trabalho dos homens, há mais resoluçao de problemas, conhecimentos mais especializadas e autonomia na tomada de decisao. Servidores da área finalística afirmaram exercer tarefas com mais significado. Gestores consideraram ter menos autonomia para planejar suas tarefas, enquanto os demais servidores avaliam que seus trabalhos tem início, meio e fim mais bem definidos. Num órgao público de grande porte e complexidade, as características dos trabalhos se diferenciam em funçao de variáveis sociodemográficas e funcionais, exigindo-se customizaçöes nas práticas de gestao de pessoas e nas políticas organizacionais.
Purpose: The aim of this paper is to identify relationships between "managerial competencies" (MCs) and the resulting extension in Brazilian "research groups" (RGs), as well as differences resulting ...from sociodemographic/functional characteristics. Originality/value: Just like general organizations, RGs need to invest in aspects that enhance their results, taking more strategic approaches to efficiently gather and manage resources and establish networks and partnerships, features that are influenced by the leader's competencies, which are not always satisfactorily displayed. In addition, the study is innovative in applying a scale of results in RGs (for the first time), identifying their relationships with MCs. Design/methodology/approach: We employed the Correlation Analysis (Kendall-Tau) and Difference tests between medians (Mann-Whitney and Kruskall-Wallis) from the questionnaires electronically completed by 387 RG leaders who accepted the invitation that was sent to 6,723 researchers. Findings: The study was based on scales with validity evidence, and its findings indicate that to achieve better results, it is not enough for the RGs leaders to control the management of people and research results; they also need to dedicate themselves to gathering resources and people because these MCs are more related to results in RGs. We also identified differences resulting from educational level, gender, scholarship grants, knowledge area, and/or research experience and group relation time.
Purpose: To identify and analyze differences in the tasks, knowledge, and social features of the work of civil servants of the Superior Court of Justice, and, secondarily, to verify the factorial, ...convergent, predictive, and discriminative validity of the Work Design Questionnaire (WDQ) in the Brazilian Judiciary context. Originality/value: With the WDQ's development, the work design became the subject of further studies all around the world. Also, in Brazil, since its translation and adaptation, this variable has caused great repercussions in people management, becoming the first study within the scope of the Brazilian Judiciary. Design/methodology/approach: Through a survey sent to 2,898 civil servants, 895 responses were obtained and subjected to descriptive statistical analysis, confirmatory factorial analysis, reliability analysis, Kendall's tau correlation analysis, and the Kruskal-Wallis test. Findings: The most indicated work feature was social support, and the least indicated was interaction outside the organization. Special knowledge was most required from professionals with higher education. For the men, there were more problem solving, specialized knowledge, and decision-making autonomy in their work. Civil servants who work in judicial activities claimed to have more meaningful tasks. Managers claimed to have less autonomy in planning their tasks, as all other civil servants stated that their work has a more definite beginning, middle, and end. In a public body of great size and complexity, work features are differentiated by their sociodemographic and functional variables, requiring customization in the management practices of people and organizational policies. Objetivo: Este estudo tem o objetivo de identificar relacoes entre "competencias gerenciais" (CG) e o alcance de resultados em "grupos de pesquisa" (GP) brasileiros, bem como eventuais diferencas decorrentes de caracteristicas sociodemograficas ou funcionais. Originalidade/valor: Assim como as organizacoes em geral, GP precisam investir em aspectos que potencializem seus resultados, assumindo uma abordagem mais estrategica, voltada a eficiencia na captacao e gestao de recursos e estabelecimento de redes e parcerias, aspectos que sao influenciados pelas competencias do lider, que nem sempre as detem satisfatoriamente. Ademais, o estudo e inovador em aplicar a escala de resultados em GP (pela primeira vez), identificando suas relacoes com CG. Design/metodologia/abordagem: Foram empregadas a Analise de Correlacao (Kendall-tau) e Testes de diferencas entre medianas (Mann-Whitney e Kruskall-Wallis) a partir de questionarios eletronicos respondidos por 387 lideres de GP, que aceitaram o convite enviado a 6.723 pesquisadores. Resultados: O estudo baseou-se em escalas com evidencias de validade e seus achados indicaram que, para alcancar melhores resultados, nao e suficiente que o lider do RG domine a gestao de pessoas e de resultados de pesquisa, sendo necessaria a dedicacao a captacao de recursos e de pessoas, pois essas CG estao mais associadas a resultados em GP. Foram identificadas diferencas decorrentes de nivel instrucional, genero, recebimento de bolsa de produtividade, area do conhecimento e/ou tempo de experiencia de pesquisa e de vinculo com o grupo. Cette thèse a analysé l'innovation au sein de grands réseaux de commerce de détail installés au Brésil. Pour cela, cette étude est partie du présupposé selon lequel l'innovation dans le commerce de ...détail se développe à différents niveaux et de différentes façons. L'analyse bibliographique concernant les théories de l'innovation, plus spécifiquement dans le commerce du détail, locus de cette recherche.Les résultats de cette recherche démontrent que la demande des clients permet de développer des innovations et que celles qui sont les plus utilisées correspondent aux innovations incrémentales. Il est également clair que les innovations présentées font partie d'une logique dominante du service. De façon générale, ces organisations n'ont pas dû affronter beaucoup d'obstacles pour mettre en place leurs innovations. De plus, grâce à elles, les clients y gagnent en efficience et se sentent plus impliqués. Enfin, pour les entreprises, la plus-value vient avant tout d'une fidélisation de la clientèle.
This thesis aimed at investigating the innovation in major retailing chains acting in Brazil. The presupposition assumed is that the innovation on retailing takes place in several levels and in several processes. The research results showed a trend to use the demand pull as way for the innovation arising and the predominant use of incremental innovations. It was realized, also, the Dominant-Logics Service as context of the innovations presented. Few were the barriers found by the organizations for the implantation of the innovations. As value creation for the clients, it was signalized the efficiency and the client´s involvement. Concerning the value appropriation, the companies showed the client´s loyalty.
