. The research material was obtained from scientific articles presented in Russian open access journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. The corpus constructed of selected articles was analysed by means of Lancaster University software. The attention was paid to the application of various measures used in corpus linguistics to identify the nature of relations between different collocates. The analysis allowed to present the grammatical features of the intensifiers in academic discourse, to consider their collocations by the example of the intensifier

, and to propose the model for describing linguistic phenomena using corpus-based studies.
Kategorija intenziteta složen je entitet koji dopušta izraziti čovjekove emocije, njegovo vredovanje fenomenā, a koji ima utjecaja na čitatelja. To i jest razlog da je kategorija intenziteta bivala žarište pozornosti mnogih jezikoslovaca. Međutim, verbalizacija intenziteta u različitim tipovima diskursa nije ista. Svrha je ovoga članka analizirati kategoriju intenziteta u ruskom akademskom diskursu proučivanjem funkcioniranja intenzifikatora

. Materijal za istraživanje dobiven je iz znanstvenih članaka objelodanjenih po ruskim časopisima otvorena pristupa, a indeksiranih u bazama Scopus i Web of Science. Korpus sastavljen od odabranih članaka analiziran je softverom Sveučilišta Lancaster. Posebnu pomnju autori su upravili na primjenu različitih mjera koje se rabe u korpusnom jezikoslovlju da bi se identificirala narav odnosa među različitim kolokatima. Provedena analiza omogućila je da se prikažu gramatičke vlastitosti intezifikatorā u akademskom diskursu, da se razmotre njihove kolokacije na primjeru intenzifikatora

i da se predloži model istraživanja jezičnih fenonema služeći se korpusnojezikoslovnim istraživanjem.
The phenomenon of thinking is well studied in psychology, and many of its types are revealed. However, little attention is paid to the development of divergent thinking in general and the development ...of divergent thinking of managers in particular. At the same time, multidirectional management decisions, their prompt adoption and the originality of content are very necessary for enterprises. The aim of the article is to give the characteristic of divergent thinking, to note its features and to present own definition of the concept “divergent thinking of managers”. In the article the analysis of one of the functions of managers, that is forecasting, is described. The scenario method and a new method of destructive scenario forecasting are proposed. The algorithm of the last method application in the form of a technological map is shown. The result of using the method for 2 years on specialized programs of professional development and retraining of managers is described. The results of mathematical processing of the obtained data on diagnostic procedures are presented. They testify that in the experimental groups the development of qualitative characteristics of divergent thinking of managers proceeded more intensively than in the control ones, in which the method of destructive scenario forecasting was not used. That proves the effectiveness of the proposed method for the development of divergent thinking of managers.
The purpose of the article is to present the methodology of image analysis as the means of cultural representation study in a worldview on the example of the image “work”. The research is based on ...the idea that any phenomena of reality perceived by a person in the process of activity and communication are revealed in his mind through images. These images record not only causal and spatial relationships of phenomena and emotions in the process of perception, but also can be characterized by a certain social and ethno-cultural peculiarities, dynamism and variability. The images connected with real-world objects are studied through the mixed methods research including the associative experiment and gradual scaling. Associative fields constructed in the course of the experiment allow analyzing images from linguistic and psycholinguistic points of view according to the formalgrammatical features of the received responses, contiguity - similarity classification, and semantic field grouping. The experiment was organised between the equal number of Russian, Chinese and Arabic students of 20-25 years old. The interest to study this age group is explained by the fact that it is young people who form the future of any country and society in general. To study the perception of the image “work” the respondents were asked to fulfill the questionnaires in their native languages where they were to write the first association that came to their mind when they saw the word-stimulus. All responses presented in the article were translated into the English language. In conclusion, the authors summarise the received results, describe the complex structure of various associative pairs, and identify differences and similarities in the perception of the studied image in worldviews of various culture representatives.
This paper delves into the phenomenon of perception and the importance of analyzing a person’s interaction with the world. The study focuses on the visual perception as the primary channel for ...obtaining information. The objective is to identify the characteristics of visual perception, as verbalized through lexical and phraseological units in the Russian language. The researcher has analyzed 118 lexical and phraseological units that nominate visual perception. By examining dictionary entries of perceptual verbs and phraseological units, she has formed synonymous rows that share a common concretizing seme, which names the features of the process of visual perception. Certain verbs are included in multiple synonymous rows, their polysemy result in the actualization of several features. This can cause the boundaries within the field to become blurred. The core position is characterized by the feature of purposefulness, which refers to the subject’s orientation towards the object of perception. The closest feature to the core is effectiveness, which signifies the end of the process with a positive or negative result. Duration is associated with effectiveness and implies fixation on the object of perception for a certain period. The next feature is assessment, which expresses the subject’s attitude towards the object. Finally, on the periphery, there is unreality of visual perception, where the image is based on existing experience rather than the real object. This language model effectively represents the features of visual perception, making it accessible, informative, and complete.
The research attempts to reveal distinctive features of four basic patterns of the educational paradigm; aims at investigating the role of a teacher in a new language-learning environment and finding ...a new approach to education for a "Teacher 4.0" to conform to technology-related changes in the society and, consequently, to employers' expectations. The data were collected and analysed via mixed research methods based on three stages, which allow revealing the needs of learners and employers, validating the learners' skills to be formed, determining the ways for demanded skills formation and outlining the role of a teacher in the new learning environment. The findings identify that the most demanded skills for new learners are digital literacy and critical thinking. The last one along with problem-solving are of great interest to employers as the most significant educational stakeholders. These skills make a core set sought after by a professional market. Based on received data, the functions of a teacher in the formation of these skills are stated and the educational environment for foreign language teaching is presented.
В статье рассматриваются леκсичесκие параллели в общенаучной леκсиκе руссκого и английсκого языκов. Материалом исследования является леκсиκа из Academic Word List и ее руссκоязычные аналоги. Авторами ...описываются случаи полных леκсичесκих параллелей, а таκже анализируются абсолютные и частичные несоответствия сходной и отождествляемой руссκой и английсκой общенаучной леκсиκи. Полученные результаты позволят избежать неκоторых ошибоκ при освещении результатов научных исследований на родном и иностранном языκах.
